Can anyone tell me how much goofy kitchen is? Just trying to see if I should buy a character dining package deal or just pay for the meal when we get there. Thanks in advance!

Do you have an AP? If so, I would wait and pay when you get there.

I don't want to speak on pricing because I last went in November and it might not be the same.

We got Premium Character Dinning in our Vacation Package. Our tickets have a retail value on them and also say that you can use them at any full-service or counter service restaurant for that value. Also has a list of restaurants it is not accepted at. The value is between twenty and forty dollars depending on the guest's age (if you know what I mean)

The vouchers for Goofy's & Ariel's most always are a good buy, keep in mind prices are higher around holidays and during the summer *voucher prices always stay the same. Another way to pre pay for food is to put $$ on a Disney Gift Card you can add money to a Disney GC by calling DelivEARS ~ 877-560-6477 *you give the CM your credit/debit card info and they mail you the receipt. Last time I did this *a couple months ago* the $$ was on the GC the next day. I email my card # and pin so if the card is lost/stolen I can get it replaced. I'd rather have 1 card then several.

Shannon- do you know how much the tax and the tip are? For instance, the voucher price for Goofy and Ariel is $40 for an adult, yet the pricing I found last night on the DIS is $32 and $34 (respectively, off peak pricing). If tax and tip are more than $8 and $6 per person, then it would be worth it to do the voucher.

Also keep in mind if you have an AP, the voucher might not be a good deal. I just redid my spread sheet, after 10 mins on the phone with Eric of Disney Dining. Here are the pricing options, for peak times, and the discounts. This includes tax and tip (except for Minnies, I did not include tip.) Note that off peak prices are a few dollars cheaper.
