I would make reservations for sure. We had breakfast there and loved it. My kids got a kick out of them serving pizza for breakfast. Right up my DS (age 3) alley.
Priority Seating is recommended and can be made in person for this location on a limited basis. Priority Seating can also be arranged in advance by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE, or (714) 781-3463.
Do not just walk-in. We watched some people in April try to do that and they were told it was at least a 2 hour wait and they would have to remain AT the restaurant waiting the entire time if they wanted a table. The park wasn't even horribly busy like summer can get. I always mark the calendar for the 60 day mark when they allow the reservations and then I plan it ASAP.
..........sorry! Has anyone gone to Goofy's really early? like at 7 a.m.? We've only been once, at around 10:00. I am wondering what it was like early, if the characters were awake yet!
BTW, when we asked my husband last year what his favorite ride at Disneyland was, he said Goofy's Kitchen! The food is amazing!!
If they're open - yup, characters waiting for you! Actually the people on East Coast time have the perks there - they're up and ready and waiting for something to do and the characters give you a LOT of attention when you're the few there! Have a blast!
so, what about doing a late breakfast at Goofy's? They are open until 2pm for brunch on Sunday. How would the character interaction be for a noon sitting? Anyone have any experience with this?? I think I want to save the cooler morning hours for park time and then be inside with A/C during the middle of the day.
