Goofy's Kitchen?

We are going to disneyland in may I called to make reservations for breakfast on the 16th at goofy's kitchen. The cast member said it is closed for a convention the 14-16th until they get a final count they are not doing any booking. Has anyone run into this before and what would your advise be? Should we try for the 17th our last day their or what and see if they open it on those days and run the risk of being over crowded with convention goers?

I would book it for the 17th just to be sure that you get in. It can't hurt to have that reservation. It would also be a great way to end your vacation. We LOVE Goofy's Kitchen and the characters at breakfast are usually a lot of fun!

Then I would just keep checking back to see if you could get in for one of the other dates.

I'm having the same problem. I want Goofy's Kitchen for my birthday dinner on May 14th. I can't very well move my birthday, ya know? LOL!

I guess my back-up plan will be to make reservations for Ariel's, but we included dinner at Goofy's in our package. If they never open up the 14th at Goofy's can we just transfer the dining credit to eat at Ariel's?

That's really odd. I called yesterday for breakfast on the 15th and had no problem at all. Got the time I wanted and everything.

Yessss! Thanks so much for the reply. I just called to see if I could get dinner on the 14th, and it was available.

Good thing I reiterated 7:30PM before getting off the phone because she was booking us for 7:30AM!

I also ordered a Birthday Bag for me.
