I am looking for ideas on when to visit this place. I have heard to show up early, but I don't really know about going first thing and loading up on a buffet just to go hop on some rides. :( Ideas on a good timing for visiting the restaurant?

I would also like ideas on how to convince my wife that it is worth the time and money to go with our 4 and 6 year olds.

Thanks--Can't wait till May!:bounce:

Priority Seating (Reservations) are required for Goofy's Kitchen now. So go to disneyland.com and find the reservation number and call to book your date and time.

Unless you are really early risers, you will sacrifice precious park time to enjoy the brunch. I personally think it is worth it for the experience. We went at about 9 am and then went onto DL. The price is pretty high and you do want to make sure everyone gets a full meal out of it. We got up around 7 and if we went then would have a piece of toast and maybe some fruit along with juice and coffee and that would be it. So, I would suggest you go when you, your spouse and children will be hungry and enjoy!:D :D Then have fun at the parks later:D

<font color=navy>Check the dates that you'll be visiting Disneyland. Right now during the week, the park doesn't open until 10:00am, so if the times are the same in May (and during the week they may be), you can go to Goofy's Kitchen at 8:30, 8:45, or even 9am, and still have a full day at Disneyland or DCA.

We did a lunchtime on a weekend (maybe Mother's Day Sunday). MK opened early (I think 8:00). We did about 3 hours in the park and then walked back to DLH for lunch around 11:30. That worked for us - since the park was starting to get crowded then.

Dear Chumpson and wife,

My son is now 13 years old, and over the years we have been to Goofy's kitchen well over a dozen times. At times I question whether it is worth the price, but we keep coming back and never regret it. We have had some of our best character moments there, especially with Goofy. My son frequently talks about the time Goofy made him a banana split, or when Goofy kept smuggling him jello cups behind my back. Even now, neither of us feel our trip to Disneyland is complete without a visit to Goofy's kitchen.

As far as the best time to go, I prefer brunch. Part of the reason is because I like something light first thing in the morning, and I believe it is imperative to hit the parks at opening before the crowds get heavy. After a few hours, we are usually ready for a break. At noon, Goofy's Kitchen still has breakfast selections, but it also has some nice lunch selections such as roast beef, lasagna, some nice veges and salads. I feel more like I am getting my money's worth when I go at this time.

I think you and your children will really enjoy Goofy's! Don't miss it!
