Goofy's Kitchen - Brunch / Dinner Character Meal

Is Goofy's Kitchen the only (non princess) character meal that is offered for a meal other than breakfast?

Our hotel already includes breakfast plus I'd rather be spending time on the rides in the morning since that's the best in terms of line ups.

How is brunch vs dinner? Is it same characters? If you come closer to end range, will you be short on food or feel rushed?

Would like to hear feedback. Thanks.

I suggest doing a late breakfast (10:40am) on one of your early days in the parks.

I'm there with you on the whole dinner thing! On our arrival evening (before we start our 5 days of park fun) I scheduled a dinner at Goofy's to set the stage for the trip. Thought it would get the kids in the Disney spirit before I wake them up early for RD the next day. As I understand - it is the same characters & is the only place for a character dinner. Any recent visitors have an experience to share?

Hi, the dinner was great, and we got a nice photo with goofy at the front, and then Pluto, Minnie, and Dale at our table.

Food was typical buffet style, maybe slightly better than average buffet.

Desert had a good variety and was tasty.

They do serve alcohol too.


Characters including goofy, would occasionally do a parade around the restaurant which was cute.

They took their time at each table and were nice enough.

we just went last week and have been a few times before for dinner and breakfast. Characters are always the same....Goofy out front for a picture and then Minnie, Pluto , Chip and Dale. Donald was there one time, but I think it was a fluke.
Sometimes there is a line to check in but we have never waited long once we checked in. There is a really cute enlcosed theater right next to the line that shows Disney cartoons.
They do serve alcohol, we got cocktails and beers and it was great! This last time the food seemed much better, higher quality. The desserts are amazing and lots of variety. Lots of kids choices....they have a peanut butter and jelly pizza that is absolutely disgusting though!

We have been for both breakfast and dinner - breakfast is breakfast buffet, dinner is everything at breakfast plus dinner foods. So, dinner has more variety if that's an issue. Same characters. Goofy's is probably the best food of the character meals, IMO. We did a super early (7am) breakfast on a day we didn't have MM - I would hesitate to do breakfast any other way b/c it's such a schlep from the parks compared to the others (...we have 3 kids, 5, 3, 1, so maybe it's not as much of a schlep for some.) We usually do dinner at 5 or so - ready for a break, early dinner res so you're not waiting, early enough you can eat and be back for first parade. I want to say current price is somewhere around $35 + tax? for adults.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like it's a great character meal and is really good at dinner. Cool...dinner has breakfast stuff too? That's my kind of dinner..lol.

I think looking at the pricing it's one of the more expensive character meals. But for us, dinner makes more sense and if we're going to do a character meal, I'm not going to subject my son to a princess one (i.e. I think only other dinner option is Ariel's Grotto). Good tip about booking at 5ish. It's a little early for us but if we time lunch and skip snack, that's work just fine.

Ariels grotto for dinner is available, but it's not a character dinner.

Usually ariels for dinner is for world of color dining package.

Also, dinner at goofy was a bit more expensive for dinner compared to breakfast,
unfortunately I don't remember and I can't find receipt.
