Could someone please give me some info on this place?? First, did this replace the candy cauldron or is it still there?? We didn't get to do lot of looking at DTD last trip and I had never heard of Goofy's

Don't know about the Candy Cauldron, but Goofy's was great. There is a section where you can buy an Icee type drink and you get to pick the container (Mickey heads, Goofy feet, Buzz feet etc). Also, there is a make your own candy station. You pick the base (giant oreo, marshmallow, rice krispie treat, etc) then you choose what to dip it in (fudge, chocolate, caramel, etc) and then what you want for toppings (choc. chips, peanuts, sprinkles, etc). It is a lot of fun.

This did not replace the Candy Cauldron. The Candy Cauldron is locacted by Disney Quest and Goofy's is by Once Upon A Toy.

Goofy's is a great place - you need to go and get yourself a little treat!!

The candy and cookies are absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!!!! Before we went home, we bought about $60 worth of goodies to take back with us!!!!

We love Goofys Candy company! We get the marshmallows on a stick dipped in milk chocolate, caramel, and sprinkles!! Yummy!

Just be prepared! If you have a playful CM making your creation, you could have an extra surprise at the end. Hope you are not trying to surprise someone with it! That is all I'm going to say. (zippers mouth and thows away the key.)

There are several "stations" when you enter the store. There is a build your own slushy cup. We have a really cute Stitch cup that we built. (The refills of the cup are cheaper.) The build your own candy is cool too. You pick up a order sheet and a pencil. Check off what you want and turn it in to be created. When your creation is ready you pay at the check out registers. These registers also have coffee and hot chocolate for sale. There are also coolers of sodas and water. They also have stations for building your own pixie stick. I think there were also Jelly beans, and other candy in bulk.

Okay - how is it possible to spend this kind of money on candy?!
(We spent over $80 so I guess I fell under the same sugar spell as you! )

This was my DS's favorite place. We had read about it before our trip and he couldn't wait to create his own treat!!

My DS's loved this place, too! We were there last April and two CM's approached me and asked if they could take promotional photos of the boys filling their candy bags and use them for local newspapers. I agreed. What I didn't realize was that they were going to take photos for about 20 minutes all the while the boys were filling their bags to the top! It cost me almost $75 by the time I checked out! We had enough candy to get us through almost the whole summer

Goofy's has the best peanut butter fudge. I could make myself sick on it!

BTW candy at WDW is magical, it has no calories

This is the first place my 16 yo daughter wants to go every time we arrive. She just 'has' to get an apple made to her specifications. She ends up eating it for breakfast over two or three days. OK, not the healthiest breakfast but at least there is an apple underneath all that caramel and chocolate somewhere....

It is one of the truly unique stores in DTD.

They have the biggest oreo cookies I've ever seen. I am determined to eat on dipped in white chocolate this summer! I'm leaving a day where I'm not so full.
