Do the make-your-own rice krispie treats from Goofys Candy Company get stale pretty quickly? I've read reports where some people said they made them at the beginning of the week and they munch on them all week! Are they still good and fresh a few days later?

Our upcoming trip is without the kids, so I was thinking about making them some the night before we leave to take home. I know they may be somewhat messy, but I figure they should be ok if I put them in my carry-on bag since they are at least in boxes. What do you think? Will they still be good a day or two later after traveling?

I'd like to know this too, since I know it will take me a few days to eat a whole treat.

Absolutely! I stop at Goofy's before the flight home and use up any extra snack credits. I get a make your own rice krispie Mickey and take it home with me. I eat it for a few days back at home. It make the transition back to the real world a little easier to bear! :rotfl:

We brought some home in July. I put the box with the treat in a ziplock and kept it in our cooler as we were driving. I then left them in the ziplock on the counter at home for a week before I ate them and they were awesome and fresh!

If you just leave them on the counter, they will get stale. Bring a ziploc freezer bag, and it'll keep fine for a few days. They no longer have the little white boxes, so transporting them in carryon bags will be a nightmare! You could ask them to use a jumbo apple box, but those are pretty big (tough to fit in a carryon bag, and the treat will be a mess).
