GoofyinToronto's dining Review - WITH PICS!!!!!

Great reviews! Love your succinct writing style. I loved seeing all of your opinions and choices, but I have to say thanks for your review and pic of the cake pops. I too would prefer a cakey pop instead of fudgy so I'll save money and stomach space for a different dessert!

Thanks! And yes save your money for something better if you prefer your cake pops fluffy like I do. I've tried their pretzel rods and WOW theyre soooo good! I highly recommend them! :goodvibes

Love, love, love your reviews and pics! We'll be there in a few weeks and we'll be eating at some of the same places, getting the same things! Great choices!

Love your reviews!! We will be in the world in 8 days and Cali Grill is one of our dinners. The steak looks to die for (I love meat!! :lmao: ). We also love to utilize the DP (we only get regular dining) and then we pay OOP for probably 3-4 TS meals, as well. It ends up being more cost effective for us then going DxDDP for 9-10 days :) Anyway, you said you have been to Tusker House for breakfast, how is that? Tusker House is one of our OOP dining ressies on our AK day, so I was curious as to how the food and character interaction was. My kids (13 and 15) still love meeting the characters (although, me and DH do too :rotfl2: ).

we paid oop for a few meals as well. Cali Grill was one of them. Also Sci Fi. And beaches and cream! Lol. I honestly think the DxDP is too much food for us. I cannot imagine having an app and dessert with every meal.

Tusker House is awesome for breakfast. They have the best selection and variety ive seen yet. Its delicious. The character interaction was really good. Daisy was a riot! she couldnt get her rear thru between chairs and was making fun of the size of her kaboos. too cute! You really cant go wrong with breakfast. Its delish.

Post a review when you get back. i'd love to hear about your dining experience!

Hi
Great pics and reviews!! I really enjoyed reading them. Can't wait to try Via Napoli next May!! Thanks!

I have to tell ya...I'm normally not a food porn kind of girl, but after seeing your pics of food I now have several new restaurants to try the next time we go to WDW! LOL And I am really hungry now! Thanks a lot! :)

Your pics and review just convinced me to make a Via Napoli reservation for lunch!
Have you tried the arancini? Or the sangria?
Would you say after sharing an app, that an individual pizza is enough to share as a light lunch? (also thinking of just getting that huge app for two, I forget what it is called. BUT I can't imagine not getting a pizza!!) Thanks for your opinion and for the great review!

Great reviews :)
Thanks so much!
I need to find a load of people to share a kitchen sink with me and DH! ;)

Honestly with an app, yes I think one individual pizza to share is enough. you can also share the fritters for dessert. they give you ten i believe. they come warm and fresh, with dipping sauces! its so good!

we had the pepperoni and four cheese pizza. OMG they were both absolutely incredible! so good. I cant tell you which i liked best cause they're both amazing! I very highly recommend via napoli.

your welcome! LOL! My fave restaurant was via napoli, followed by tutto Italia and chefs de france. best CS is definitely WGPE!

I'm enjoying your reviews! I'm glad you are doing one, as I love to read your posts when others ask for feedback on restaurants. Your photos are great~ You can definitely tell which restaurants/dishes you really enjoy. :)
Thanks for sharing!

Glad you had a good trip!

Great reviews and pics!! So sad Cali grill will be closed while we are there......someday we will go!!! Your review confirmed that!!!;)

Agree completely on sci fi and wpe.....loved them both! Sci fi is one if my favorite themed places in Disney!

Loved your review! If you ever find a pizza in Toronto as good as Via Napoli I'd love to hear about it (I live in Barrie). It would be worth the drive!

Great reviews and thanks for posting all the pictures!

I made a return ADR for Via Napoli next trip just so I could try the Quattro Formaggio pizza (had the Margherita pizza this year and really enjoyed it). I loved the tiramisu there so much, it's hard to even consider another dessert, but you've got me convinced that I may just have to try the Zeppole...

Honestly, in Toronto the only place that kinda (big kinda cause clearly its not as good as Via, but still good) comes close to Via is Mamma's Pizza. Nice thin crust, and they have lots of toppings to choose from. It aint cheap, but its so good. Not sure if there's Mamma's Pizza in Barrie? There are also a few great ma & pa shops around Toronto.

That's what I love about your opinion! It's *your* opinion! I don't think you are too blunt, and I like your passion. Keep doing what you're doing :)

Your reviews are really great! I was so happy to read a review about 'Ohana that reflected what my family felt. :worship: It wah eeeehhhhh! Loud and eeeehhhh! My kids are pretty good eater and try different things but that place did not fly. One day I said we were going back to 'Ohana for breakfast and they said please don't make us go there! People rave about the dinner - - I don't get it.
We also went to via napoli on a whim and it is awesome. Hubs and I shared the melon prosciutto pizza -- excellent. Kids got spicy sausage - - delicious.
Chefs de France was pretty good - - we'd go back.
We also loved Cali Grill!
thanks for you reviews.

Loved your review! Thanks for sharing :) Via Napoli looks great!! Might add that to our "Must Try" list! We were going to book 'Ohana but its getting some really bad reviews lately so thinking we might steer clear of there and try it on another trip maybe! I'm seriously L-O-V-I-N-G the looks of that breakfast lasagna!!!!! I've been flip flopping between TH or CP for breakfast but I think that your review has definitely made me flop back to CP even if its just for that awesome looking lasagna! :thumbsup2

Ya, I was NOT impressed with Ohana dinner. Food quality is poor. Its shame too cause i love noodles, wings and potstickers....as well as meat!

Breakfast at Ohana is a totally different story thou. I love the food!!! Its delish. You get scrambled eggs, potatoes, pineapple bread (different from dinner), bacon, sausage, eggs, mickey waffels, fruit, juice, coffee etc. Its delish! Characters are great, stitch is a riot! And the atmosphere is gorgeous too. Its nice to have the food (all you can eat) brought to you instead of racing to the buffet and risking missing the characters. I highly recommend this place.
