GoofyinToronto's dining Review - WITH PICS!!!!!

Loved your review! Thanks for sharing :) Via Napoli looks great!! Might add that to our "Must Try" list! We were going to book 'Ohana but its getting some really bad reviews lately so thinking we might steer clear of there and try it on another trip maybe! I'm seriously L-O-V-I-N-G the looks of that breakfast lasagna!!!!! I've been flip flopping between TH or CP for breakfast but I think that your review has definitely made me flop back to CP even if its just for that awesome looking lasagna! :thumbsup2

Via is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you wont be sorry.
If youre curious about Ohana then why not try it. I did. (Im kinda sorry i did thou. LOL!). The food quality isnt great. As long as you dont go in with high expectations i think you might be fine.

TH & CP are both my fave breakfast buffets. Theyre both fantastic food wise!! If you really twisted my arm i'd have to pick CP because of the bfast lasagna. SOOOO GOOD! And pooh's french toast is awesome too. Love that place. Plus i do think the atmosphere is alot prettier than TH.

You really cant go wrong with either place thou!

Geez, this is making me hungry!! :)

Who says Disney food sucks!?

Via Napoli wasn't on the list (Tangierine we were thinking), but it is now..

We're on the quick dining plan.

Honestly, out of all the restaurants, the only two i would INSIST that you try is Via Napoli (pizza is truly delish) and Wolfgang Puck Express (market place....its QS). Theyre out of this world!!!!!!!! So very VERY yummy. :goodvibes Glad my pics convinced you to go to Via! I really dont think you'll be disappointed.

Glad my pics convinced you to go to Via!

That creme brule looks good! They do a good one at the French pavillion, too, I hear..

Looks like we'll be burning through quite a few quick meal credits at Epcot, and out of pocket besides! LOL (don't think Chefs du France is on the Quick dining Plan)

The creme brulee at the French pavilion is incredible!! Very good! :goodvibes

PS: your right about Chefs not being on the QS DP. ;) But the bakery in france is amazing! my fave QS in epcot!

Ya, I was NOT impressed with Ohana dinner. Food quality is poor. Its shame too cause i love noodles, wings and potstickers....as well as meat!

Breakfast at Ohana is a totally different story thou. I love the food!!! Its delish. You get scrambled eggs, potatoes, pineapple bread (different from dinner), bacon, sausage, eggs, mickey waffels, fruit, juice, coffee etc. Its delish! Characters are great, stitch is a riot! And the atmosphere is gorgeous too. Its nice to have the food (all you can eat) brought to you instead of racing to the buffet and risking missing the characters. I highly recommend this place.

Now I really want to try breakfast at Ohana. I've thought about booking it a few times but my DD always vetoes the idea. I totally agree about dinner there, my DH who never complains about food told me to never book that meal again and he has never said about any of the other WDW restaurants.

Great reviews! Thanks for posting the photos @ feedback on Via Napoli, I keep hearing great things so made an ADR there for lunch and looking forward to it. Those Ricotta fritters looked really good, just might have to get some.:thumbsup2

Breakfast at Ohana is very relaxing and laid back. I just chill and enjoy the pretty scenery while waiting for the cute characters to come by. its great! :goodvibes

Via Napoli is delish. I absolutely LOVE their pizza. The fritters are a must. They come to you warm and fresh. soooo good! :)

Great reviews and pics!!! Gotta try that Breakfast Lasagne @ CP!!!

Thanks for the review!

Just a few f/u questions and comments.

1) I read many great reviews (including yours) on WPE in DTD. And Ragland Road and others...we went there years ago...other than dining what takes you there? I enjoy a good meal, but my thoughts are on vacation I'd rather eat at parks/resorts...what else do you do with your DTD time?

2) Fair disclosure for dieters..Short ribs...even nicely trimmed such as at Le Chefs are NOT "lean like a fillet". They are incredibly tender and flavorful (actually more flavor than a fillet) BECAUSE of a high internal fat content known as 'marbling". (think of the difference of a filet and a ribeye)

A great review (and I intend to order these shortribs based on this opinion!)- I just want to make sure folks who may be monitoring fat/caloric intake don't assume it's as lean as a filet/

1) I also like Raglan road. But WGPE is my true love. In DTD we like to shop, I LOVE to shop there. My son mainly goes for disney quest. I hate that place. But he loves it.

2) yes im sure the short ribs are not good for you in terms of fat content, but its so lean (no visible fat) and flavourful. Very delicious!

Awesome reviews and pictures (I love me some good food porn), but now I am STARVING! :rotfl2: Via Napoli looks so bomb, but I think after your review of the lasagne, we may try Tutto Italia. :)

Ooooh that lasagna. It was so delicious. One of the best i've had. Theyre both great restaurants. Via is my fave, but Tutto is fantastic as well. Cant go wrong with either!
