Does anyone remember goofy at a Character Meal? My DD9 remembers Goofy with a Chefs hat & blue tables. We thought it was Chef Mickeys & went there last year... no Goofy.
Every time we eat at Chef Mickey's (at least 5 times now), Goofy was there with his Chef hat on!! Every meal was DINNER.
Just wanted to add that sometimes Goofy was the 'greeter' at the entrance but other times he made the rounds with Minnie and Mickey...if he makes the rounds, usually Donald is there at the entrance taking his place.
We were there this past Nov/Dec and Goofy made the rounds. We were staying at the Contemporary tower so we could look down on Chef Mickeys and we saw Goofy there every day. And as just an FYI...on MVMCP party nights, Goofy was wear his Santa outifit! Oh how I wished our night eating there was a party night but it wasn't.
Goofy is there with a chefs hat, he does not come around to the tables...he is usually in the lobby of the resturant, sometimes right after you get your picture taken.
Goofy has been at our Chef Mickey dinner every time and walks around. We've got pictures from each. Donald for us was in the 'lobby' each time for us. Great character interaction each time
I haven't been to the character breakfast at the Beach Club but I think Goofy is still there. And I'd have to check to see if he's back at Liberty Tree, i can't remember if he was there in October or not but for some reason I thought he stopped there when they had that Goofy Dancing thing in Frontierland that I believe is no longer going on so he might be back at Liberty Tree.
I'm sure someone can confirm if he's at the Beach Club Breakfast and Libtery Tree Dinner still for you We were thinking of the Beach Club Breakfast for our next trip so would be interested to hear too. Mom's a big Goofy fan.

I think it is Chef Mickey's that he is remembering, that is the only one I can think of that he is in a Chef's Hat, but like others have said, he is not always there and sometimes he is only in the lobby...
But to answer Diane... Yes, he is a Liberty Tree for Dinner (that one is his "Goofy's Liberate your appetite Character Dinner") and he is still at the Beach Club Buffett at Cape May for Breakfast in the morning.
I think it's just hit or miss and changes practially daily as I've eaten there several times for dinner and have had Goofy walking around with Donald as the greeter and vise versa.
For breakfast Goofy is in the lobby area and won't walk around to the tables. We have only been to dinner once (breakfast lots) and Goofy was there and he did walk around to the tables while Donald stayed in the lobby area.

Thanks CDSTapisRouge!!!! Glad to hear he's still at the Cape May, I'll have to see if we can fit that in on the next trip. We've done Liberty Tree a few years now and were last there in Oct05 but I couldn't remember if Goofy had put in an appearance or not, it was Halloween night and we were in a wee bit of a rush LOL I remember the Munks, Minnie and Pluto and then it's a blur *sigh*
Cobbler thanks for pointing out the breakfast routine, we always do dinner there (yum, mashed potatoes!) but good to know if we decide to switch things up more
Currently our fave breakfast is the Character Meal at the GF but sadly no Goofy but the food is delish and hey it's Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger! Gotta love the line up We just did that this January. But I'll keep in mind Chef Mickey's Breakfast for Mom and Cape May I think is going to the top of the list since none of us have eater there yet, so a new experience.
We saw him at Chef Mickey's for dinner. He did the rounds and Donald was in the lobby. My signature has our picture with him. He is DH's favorite and therefore DS's favorite as well!
Thank You everyone for your responses. He must of been out the night we were there last June. We let the Girls pick 2 places to eat on our trips. DD9 wants Chef Mickey & CRT for our next trip. I feel like a rat but the Magic of Chef Mickey was not there last year. It was me... not Chef Mickey. When the girls were small & really thought the Characters were real I LOVED it.
Now CRT price went up around $10.00 from last year UGH. I love CRT but I can't bring myself to spend that much money for breakfast. DD11 is an adult for the first year. DH would say just do it but I sometimes feel I have to say NO to DISNEY. DD9 is fine with the Princess lunch in EPCOT.
We just ate there last Friday 1/13 week for 8:20 Dinner. The characters were Donald (in the lobby), Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale. Goofy spent a long time at our table playing with my sister and daughter.
