Goodings vs. Garden Grocer

We used Goodings for the first time during our last trip, and we were very happy with their service. I see everyone talking about Garden Grocer. What are the differences between the two?

I can't really answer your question but we were thinking about using Garden Grocer this time for delivery to our resort. We've gone to Goodings in the past when we have had a car available and we love it. Do they deliver as well? If so we would buy from them.

Garden Grocer is a delivery service. You go to the website and pick out the items you want. During the checkout process you pick the day and time you want the groceries to be delivered. They bring them to your hotel.

I used them last time I went. I thought they were good. The only issue I had was that the hotel was really busy that day so it took a while for me to actually get my groceries. There were tons of people checking in and it took them almost 2 hours to bring the bags to my room. I even went down to the front desk to pick them up and they were so busy that they didn't have anyone to go in the back and get them for me.

I personally like Goodings better.

Goodings has a $50 minimum purchase requirement with a $20 service charge. When we arrived, we checked into our room and ran off to a park. When we got back that evening, I called the front desk/concierge and they were delivered. It's a great service -- well worth it to have water and soda in your room for the week!

The Garden Grocer is very good too. We called and spoke with one of their representatives last week. There is a 12$ delivery fee for their service and their website is very user friendly. Liquor and wine and beer may be ordered also, you just have to fax them your ID.

We are arriving late, around 11pm but would love to have groceries delivered for the morning. Do either grocer's have late delivery or very early delivery?
