Goodbye Jo Jo

The end of an era, well our era anyways. Jo Jo is gone and Oso is in. My little girl loves Jo Jo so much I finally told her this morning that Jo Jo will no longer be at H&V. She got teary eyed, ran into her room and returned with her Jo Jo doll. Then when I told her that Oso was in the cheers began... I will never understand women.

My DDs were big fans of JoJos a couple of years ago. I was sorry to see her show no longer on the Disney Channel.

Agent Oso is a hit for us now. When did/does the change take effect? My DDs will be tickled to get to add his autograph to their collection.

Handy Manny replaced Goliath a few months ago and Oso just started appearing at the beginning of October.

I have to say that I am pleased with the change. DD6 is the only one of our kids that even knew who JoJo and Goliath were and she has long since outgrown them.

We head there next month - I knew about Handy Manny, and they were excited to get his autograph. This will be a bonus - they love Oso.

This kinda makes me sad... Our DD7 absolutely loved JoJo when she was younger. On her 1st trip, when she was not quite 3, she met JoJo. JoJo was kneeling down & DD ran up and grabbed her in a big hug, refusing to let her go. It is one of my favorite memories of WDW out of all of our 5 trips.

Hollywood and Vine is one of my son favorite meals, I told him JoJo is not there anymore (he hasn't watch Jojo for 2 years from his DVD or said anything but since I told him his not there he wants to watch but he is excited to see Agent Oso). Thank goodness they have changed the characters.

I totally miss that era too! My two older kids 9&8 loved those. I also miss Stanley, Wiggles and a few others as well. I now have a 2 yr old so I'm learning all the new characters now. They do grow fast!

So sad JoJo and Goliath are off the air and apparently on their way out entirely. So cute and sweet. I find Oso mindnumbing and it has unfortunatly, caused us to head to PBS for our morning routine now. My dd loved JoJo, higglytown heroes, and the wiggles. My little guy has no idea who they are but loves Handy Manny and the occasional Chuggington.

We really miss Bear, too. My DD11 and DS9 used to watch him all the time. I just dusted off some old Bear DVD's for DS3 to watch and he loved them too. I wish they'd bring Bear back - that show was so much better than some of the other stuff they've had recently.

I have never seen jojo....it was before DDs tv days....but i really am no fan of oso, and the other day i asked DD if she wanted to see lilo and stitch or oso...and she said OSO!!! AHHHH!

So is ohanas or hollywood and vine better? (that is the breakfast they are at right?)

Hooray!! My DS who just turned 6 hardly knew who JoJo and Goliath were the last time we went! It was his older sister who is now 10 that watched JoJo and although she grumbled at having to go to a "little kids" character meal she gave big hugs to JoJo and Goliath!! Now DS enjoys Agent OSO quite a bit as well as Handy Manny so I think I might have to drag big sis to this little kid meal once more, LOL!! Actually she loves character meals and although I know she'll grumble as soon as she sees them, she'll pose for pics!

I'm excited for the change since we've never been to H&V. My 4 & 2 yr old had no idea who those characters were, so we didn't bother with those eating places. We'll give it a try for HM & Oso, though. My boys love those characters.

And a few years from now when those characters move out to make way for the new generation of characters, I'll be posting this same thread with different names....sad for eras gone by!

My 9 month old loves the bouncing Paw Pilot songs!! He also love the Handy Manny songs too...smiles sooo big every time they come on!

I just booked a lunch there and can't WAIT to see his face when he sees them!

My son loved JoJo when he was a little younger. I don't even know if she is on tv anymore though? That and Higglytown Heroes! I don't care for Oso, he's cheesy and just lame looking.
