So, after a year of being the proud owners of a 5er and enjoyng the Fort the time has come to let that part of our life go.When it all began I thought the ride would never end but, life just doen't seem to work that way sometimes. Don't get me wrong, the decision was not easy to make and has been discussed for months. Unfortunatly the wheels were set in motion that fatefull day that the words were spoken,,,, " do you think we could swing a Class A ":lmao: ,,,,You didn't think we were giving up on the Fort did you ??? You should really have more faith in a fellow DISer . With the rising cost of fuel we had to rethink a few things but, when I started thinking about the cost of diesel, towing Mileage, Cost of Gas, and Class A Mileage it can't be to much of a difference ( OK, I spent more time thinking about a cost anaylisis than I spent actually doing one,,,,sshhh, don't tell Lisa ). She seems to think my reasoning is so that I could have a Rockstar Bus:rolleyes1 . It's not a bus per say but we found a deal we didn't think we should pass up. We haven't actually signed the papers yet but, it's been through the bank so we have the final deal. We are supposed to take delivery on Thursday. Now we have to find some of that ever elusive availability to break it in properly. I will try and take a few more pictures when we get it home but, I have a couple from the dealer website.. it's a 2001 and only had 24,000 miles on it. Considering we are about 1.5-2 hours from the Fort and thats pretty much the only place we go, we should be fine. Were hoping to start trying a few different places this Summer up in Georgia...I'm going to wait to edit our Sig until we actually have it home.

Mike...you ARE a trip, and that is one sweet rockstar bus!! All ya need is a rockstar mural painted on it and a broken guitar in one of the windows!!! Congrats man

Thanks Rog, I'm sure I will will come up with something, the tricky part is coming up with something Lisa will let me do:lmao: . I think I used up al my " what I want " credits with the bus...:confused3

Oh Man I know what would be cool..... Have someone paint the upside down Cadillac like the one at the entrance of the Rock-n-Rollercoaster :thumbsup2

Man, you are living my current dream, trade in the 5-er for a Class A. I can thank Shannone for that dream. Ever since she showed the pictures of her Winnebago bunk house, I find myself looking at the Class A forums, looking on eBay and any other for sale site I can find. :surfweb:

Congrats on the new toy!

Now thats Sweet ! VERY COOL:cool1: congradualtions!

Congrats! Our last TT was a coachman and we loved it. The family has had others and loved them as well. Hope you have many wonderful nights at the fort.

Congratulations, looks great!:thumbsup2

Man, looks to be in very good condition...NICE!:thumbsup2 I think I would have had a tough time deciding myself. I made the decision myself that if I ever make the move to a Class "A", it will be a diesel pusher Toy Hauler so it ain't happening anytime soon.

HOLY BIG BUS BATMAN!! That's so cool! :thumbsup2 You guys must be sooooo excited!  Have fun in your new toy!

hope you enjoy your rig as much as we enjoy ours...we have never regretted the decision to go from the tt to class a

Thanks to everyone for the comments. I haven't had the chance to take additional pictures yet BUT, It has found its way home. We took deliverey today ( Thursday ) and for me to say its awsome would not do it justice. I'm sure we will enjoy it beyond belief if we can get availability at the fort when its not jam packed. Hopefully we don't have to wait for end of summer. Donnie, I may PM you for some spots around here ( Hannah park etc. ) that you could give us some advice on. One person I know swears by Jeykle (sp) Island....
