Checking in with a question for group A1....

I am doing snow white and the evil queen. I am using red and white for snow white, and want to know if anyone would have a problem with me doing the evil queen in black and purple? Or if you guys dont like that idea, i could maybe do the queen in red and black.... or ....?? Please let me know, as I have the snow white frame and a tag done in the red and white. Looks really spiffy if I do say so myself! ( I was up all night hand stitching the tags, lol.)

I trust your opinion, so if you think it looks good, go for it (with the different colors, that is).

I like the idea of the Evil Queen being the Black and Purple AND Red. Just Black and Purple makes me think of Maleficent. The red accent reminds of the apple that the Evil Queen used and the red jewel around her neck.

As for Evil Queen I did red, purple, and black for the rare character and it looked great. So go for it!!

Quick question. If you don't have stickers for a particular charecter, what do you use? I don't paper piece and don't want to start for this swap. Any suggestions? Do any of you print out on scrapbooking paper then cut out to make your own stickers? I am having trouble finding Lion King stickers. Any ideas are appreciated.

I have printed out character clip art on cardstock and used it.

I print my clipart out on glossy photo paper. Sometimes I use as is and sometimes I glue the glossy paper to another paper to create a 3-D effect when placed on the element I am creating. I almost always seem to cut around the clipart very closely. I can't remember the last time I used it as a square or rectangle.

Use any clipart for it..and make your own stickers... I've done that in the past..and sometimes find I like the clipart better than the stickers I find out in the shopping areas!!
I must say.. Alexwyattsmommy's photo paper clipart is AWESOME!!!
