Good views at YC

We are staying in a water view room at YC in Nov. 08. We have never stayed at YC before. I would really like to get a good water view - I don't want to just be overlooking the quiet pool. I know nothing is guaranteed, but any suggestions on what part of the resort to ask for?

Also, I am thinking of requesting that we be near the lobby in the hopes that will make the walk to Epcot a little shorter for the kids, ages 12, 9 & 7. Or does that not really matter?

We've had two great waterview rooms at YC, and hope for the same in July.

We request first floor, lakefront, near the laundry room. That way you are really close to the side exit (wedding gazebo side). You don't even have to go through the lobby to get to the marina, the pool, or EPCOT.
