As of 11:55 AM EST on January 14, 2014 you are correct. MK is not tiered.
Ask again in 5 minutes or 5 days or 5 weeks and the answer might be different.

I would recommend Enchanted Tales with Belle, Peter Pan and one of the mountains- in case you don't want to go to another thread for mesaboy's tips - I would recommend reading his tips though!

I've checked that attraction list three times on the WDWMAGIC website, but I didn't see Splash Mountain listed. I'm thinking this is an error?

Mesaboy's list really is helpful. It very much depends on what you and yours like to do and whether you will go for RD.

Lines can get long for the mountains, as you would expect. But, they also can get long for things like Peter Pan. For example, right now, on a very low crowd day (oh, I wish I was there), the posted time for Peter Pan is about the longest ride time in the park.

Well, the WDWMagic list is "Attractions available for FastPass+ selections are:".

Splash Mountain isn't "available" for FP+ selection or standby line for that matter. It is closed for refurbishment through late March.

OK, I didn't realize this is a current list of open attractions. I thought it was just a general list of attractions that are or will be on FP+.

Anyone's guess. Len Testa of Touring Plans said in a podcast last week that all 4 parks will be FP+ only by the end of the month.

I'll be there the final week of this month, possibly with a front seat to zero hour! I have also seen accounts of offsite people park-hopping and successfully using Fastpass+ at the second park, which I thought was not permitted. Even if it is, the value seems very limited since offsiters have to pick through the same-day leftovers whether park-hopping or not.
