Good TS near or on the Boardwalk?

One of our days we're going to DHS in the morning and then want to head over to the boardwalk to have a stroll, eat, enjoy the evening. I see that Kouzzina is in the Boardwalk Resort, but not sure if that's really up or alley. It's hard to tell by looking at the map, but how close is Beach Club? Could we easily do dinner at Cape May Cafe that night?

Beach Club is a 5 minute walk around the lagoon from the Boardwalk area. Very easy and accessible. If you are going to be in the BW area, any of the TS restaurants at YC, BC, Swan and Dolphin are very close by.

:yay: :woohoo: Thank you!!! :cool1: :dance3:

Is it also easy to just go over to Epcot World Showcase? This is our first WDW vacation, so I have no idea. It's hard to tell things from the maps.

Epcot World Showcase is a very short walk and there are certainly lots of choices there to eat. We love LeCellier in Canada but it is very hard to get a ressie there.

You have dozens of choices between the Boardwalk area and Epcot! You can stroll to Boardwalk, or take the boat to world showcase and work your way back...so many options.
Cape May has a nice Clam Bake in the evening, there's also FLying Fish Cafe - more upscale but very yummy!, Also Yachtsman's steakhouse - better than LeCellier IMHO...
Shula's and Blue Zoo I haven't been to yet, but they get rave reviews....

Another vote for Flying Fish. We eat there two times every trip. Like previously posted, it is more upscale but so delish. ESPN Club is a fun atmosphere that serves the typical bar food. Lots of tvs to watch. Have not tried the Beach Club or Yacht Club restaurants expet for ice cream @ Beaches -n- Cream. I have not tried Kouzinna's as I am still boycotting the loss of Spoodles.:rotfl: The Boardwalk at night is a fun atmosphere though so enjoy:thumbsup2

I love to spend the morning at DHS and then either walk or take the friendship boat down to the Epcot resort area or even all the way Epcot for the afternoon and dinner.

The boat ride is nice, but it really is not that bad of a walk all the way from DHS to Epcot. Sometimes you can walk it faster than the boat because the boat goes to the Boardwalk, Dolphin/Swan, Beach/Yacht Club before going to the International Gateway at Epcot. (There is a thread on the board that tells the order the boat goes, I just can't remember the exact route)

Not sure what you are looking for dinner wise, but here are a few ideas in that area

At the Boadwalk there is the ESPN Club (bar food), Pizza take out window with tables and chairs by the lake, Kouzzina (1 table service credit if using Disney Dining Plan) and Flying Fish (Signature Seafood that is 2 table service credits)

Across the lake is the Yacht and Beach Club hotels. Cape May has a buffet dinner, but it also has a fun restaurant called Beaches and Cream. Burgers, Fries and awesome Ice Cream treat. The Yacht club has Captains Grille (1 TS credit and the Yachtsman Steakhouse (signature 2 TS credits)

If you go on down to the International Gateway at Epcot you will enter the park between the countries of United Kingdom and France. It is a short stroll to at Canada, UK or France. All three have nice table service restaurants.

Hope this helps.

Thank you all SO much for your replies. I think we're going to go with Cape May Cafe since we love seafood and there will still be enough for our little ones to eat. :thumbsup2

The only table service locations I have been to in that area is the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk and Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club. However those two locations don't accept ADR's, so when wanting to eat there it's first come first serve.
