Good trade?

Hello,

A guy in my room today playing my game asked me to trade and I accepted.
He was trading his Chernabog Carpet. I told him that I had nothing he would like but he told me to try anways and so I did and I put a well chair in the trade window and he said he liked in and accepted on his side and in the 30 secs I decided to think on it to make sure it was a good trade first he changed his mind and decided he wanted something else. If I had gone through with the trade..would it have been a good trade?
Now that I sit and think about it I think that it would have been a really good deal because the well chair is easier to get and the rug has been retired for awhile..oh well .
So if someone could tell me if that would have been a good deal or not that would be great.

personally i go with the thought that if both traders are happy with the trade, regardless of the items, then it's a fair trade it all depends on who you ask and what both traders agree on i suppose

Retired is not in the VMK dictionary. The blue dress came out first summer then first Halloween then the following Valentines I believe then again last Halloween and just now. I may be of on my memory. The quest machines were retired and returned. The Beach and Typhoon Lagoon where quests and now anyone can have them and The space mountain room was a prize.

Chernabaugh rug might come out again. For you getting wells is easy but for those of us who are not CMs or people who go to WDW a lot then we find wells valuable. I rather have the well over the rug.

I feel that if both parties are happy and the expense is nearly equal the leave it at that. If I was trading an item in the store for a pair of golden ears then I would stop the person and explain. The trade is fine.
