Good to have DVC this summer...

Thank goodness we got two trips this summer to WDW. The kids are BOUNCING off the walls and so am I! If it RAINS one more day I'm gonna SCREAM!!! We just haven't gotten in much pool time this summer and my oldest asks me everyday - Where are we going today?

Guess I need to think of something. Just waiting on the termite man...

Staring at the calender... two weeks to go until BCV. One week to go until VBS. (How cool was that? Kids go to VBS the week before we leave for WDW. Perfect time to do laundry and pack!)


Is anyone else sick of rain?!?

I Ilive in Virignia and we have not had all that much rain. I wish I were going to DW now, we went in May and are not going back until August, 2005. My DH will only make one trip there per year.

What VBS are you doing? Our Church is doing "Lava Lava Island" -- the Fellowship Hall will look like something out of "Lilo & Stitch" for the week, including a smoking volcano.

Hi, lenshanem! I can identify with your rainy spell down there. Up here in Michigan, we had a very wet month of May. In our part of the state, they said it rained 26 out of 31 days in May. Your kids should get plenty of pool time at SAB soon. Have a terrific time!

Hey, RoyalCanadian, our church just did Lava Lava Island for VBS this week. The committee really outdid themselves with decorations. They were awesome! The kids seemed to really enjoy the whole week. There were between 350 and 400 kids registered.

Can't remember. It isn't Lava Lava, though. That sounds really cute. It is a United Methodist Church if that makes any difference.

I hear you, Shan! All of this rain is unreal! I did see the sun peek out yesterday afternoon for a few minutes...and took the kids to the pool for an hour last night (first time all week). I'm hoping this bodes well for our holiday weekend plans!

Our church did Lava Lava Island (the company who produces these programs is fantastic...I think this is our fifth year using them) this week...but I didn't sign my kids up. We've been going and going this summer...and I really felt like they needed a week *off*. My middle guy has a sore throat/cough...so it's probably best that they are all home and not infecting a whole group of kids. I could have used the peaceful packing time though, as we leave for a 2 week trip to WA state on Tuesday!

I could cry I miss SAB so much!

Going to WDW July 11-15 for a conference, but staying at the Dolphin -- will miss my DVC! Hubby and I won't get back to WDW together until next January!!!

Rain rain rain that seems to be all we have had up here in Wisconsin. Dh and I are lucky enough to be in an area that has not flooded. Our normal temps this time of year are in the 80's but this year so far we have averaged the high 60's. So believe me when I say that I am actually looking forward to the heat at WDW. I will probably say, "What was I thinking?", when I arrive but just the thought makes me smile.
