Good time to visit Toontown?

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on when to visit Toontown? I was thinking maybe try going in the evening. I'll be there on a Saturday so I thought maybe after the 8pm viewing of Spectromagic head over there and hope to get shorter lines. It's open until 10 or 10:30pm that evening. Let me know your thoughts!

We had luck getting there right as it opened at 10 am (it had its own rope drop). Lines for characters were extremely short (5 minutes when we went in, 45 when we came out). Bear in mind, this was before Tinkerbell, so I'm sure that part is a little nuts right now...

The 2009 Unofficial Guide says before 10:30am or after 5:30pm. So a late night visit may be very smart.

I agree with either early or late, but I dont mind heading over there for characters mid day in the heat because it allows us a chance to get out of the blazing heat for an hour and is a line we dont mind waiting in for that reason. I do reccomend evening though, with the crowds, because the mornings get crowded so fast and you dont get to see/do it all before it gets crowded.

We always head over there late at night. It seems so much less crowded. One time it felt like we were the only ones there! Plus, all the lights make it look so much more magical.
