Good time in December?

I'm thinking about trying a Dec 2005 trip, if I can convince DH that we DO need to go again so soon.....not soon for most, considering it would be 13 months after our upcoming trip, but we haven't been since 1997, so it's soon for us!

What is the best time in December? I know the week following Christmas is bad for crowds. Christmas falls on a Sunday next year, and I was thinking the 14th to the 20th or so, would that be a good time? Maybe we should go the week before? I'm hoping we'll be able to stay at least at a moderate that trip, but I do want to avoid Pop Warner if I can!

Last year we went the first week of December--it was nice weather and very uncrowded.

We've been a couple of times the week AFTER Thanksgiving and it was a great time. Low crowds (a lot of the rides were walk on), great weather (a couple of days we needed sweatshirts though, and too cool for us to go swimming)!! No problem with Pop Warner - at the hotel or parks.

This year, we're going Dec 8-12. We're hoping for some nice cool weather; we just got back last month and it was hot!!! Don't miss MVMCP and CP - those are definitely worth the trip!!!

Have been twice in December and ging 12/04. We always go the first week in Dec.. In 2005, that would be week of 12/5. I think 12/14-20 would still be ok because you are out before the weekend. It is absolutely fantastic those weeks before Christmas. It is so uncrowded. I take my kids out of school just because the crows are so low. Have fun!
