Does anyone have a stroller recommendation (like a good brand)? I want a stroller that has tall handles and, of course, sturdy! Thanks!

I am going to recommend the Zooper Twist. I really like it. DH doesn't have any problems with it he is 6'. I have only had it a couple of weeks and only used it a couple of times so far. My ds gets excited about riding in it. He loves to ride in stollers but won't wait for the zooper to get opened up before he is trying to climb in. A lot of people will recommend the Maclarens but I found the Zooper very comparable and the 2008 twist is cheaper than the 2008 Mac Quest(which it is very similar too) I found mine at strollerdepot.com.

also I forgot to add that somewhere on here in Disney families is a thread all about differnent strollers. It is called the unofficial guide to strollers. it has lots of info on different strollers and lots of questions answered.

sorry i don't know how to link

I recently bought the Peg P3 to use at WDW....we just got back and I can say it worked great! I used Albeebaby and paid $199. for last year's model, the only difference is color choice BTW.

Our main reason for getting it was needing a stroller that folded fairly compactly in the car, needing full recline for a baby, and wanting a large sunshade for that hot Florida sun. This stroller fit the bill in all areas and as the week went on, I loved it more and more. I'm short and didn't need to raise the handles, but they do raise if you need them to. I also liked that I could hang a heavy diaper bag and other things from the handles and not worry about the stroller tipping over. The snack/cup tray in front was also a biggie on my list; I know it will come in handy in future years. The adult cup holder in the back seemed to get in the way more than help (plus, it's small) so I took it off. I may get one of those Mac mesh bags for future trips since it does have dual cup holders, this was my only complaint about the stroller. We didn't pay extra for the rain shield but did use a $20. one purchased at BRU by Graco...it fit great and covered everything, including the diaper bag as it hung from the handles (and let me tell you, there was one heck of a rain storm the other night as we were leaving AK, but baby stayed dry).

Overall, you can't beat the price and all that you get for the money on this stroller. Check it out at BRU (where it retails for $345.) then order from Allbeebaby.

I LOVE the Maclaren!!!! We have the Quest and it is AWESOME!!! I can easily push it one handed and it is sooo sturdy. Folds up like an umbrella stroller. It's great!!

I love the Maclaren Techno XLR. A bit pricey but the handles are tall and you can even extend them to make them taller to fit the hubby. Easy as 1-2-3! Also it has extenders in the foot rest so you little ones feet don't dangle if they are sleeping. I have the triumph too, not a huge fan but it does the job

you can't go wrong w/ any of the mac models they are made for taller people and some have adjustable handles and they are light and compact.

I LOVE my Maclaren for Disney. Its small and light weight. I have the Triumph that reclines half way. Its easy to fold up and get on the bus. We have number 2 on the way and I just bought the Phil and Teds. This is the best double stroller I have ever seen. It pushes so easily and is great in crowds. I love that it goes from a single to a double in no time. Its the only stroller in my car right now b/c of the versatility.

I just got a Peg Perego Pliko P3 from albeebaby.com. I got the Pure Vapor stroller for $159.99. I love it. It has adjustable handles, which are very nice b/c I'm short and DH is not. :)
DS loves the stroller, he actually lays backs and relaxes in it. He's never really done that with any of our other strollers (I have a slight stroller obcession).
I love the umbrella like fold as well. I think that will be very nice on the Disney buses. The basket is on the small side when compared to our Graco, but we have stroller hooks so the backback can hang on the back of the stroller. It only has one cup holder, so I think I may also look into get the Mac bag that the previous posted talked about.

If you can list the weight and age of the child, it might be easier to narrow down your choices. Are you looking for a stroller that is lightweight, like an umbrella, or would you like something more substantial, like a jogging stroller?

Just thinking if we had more info, it would make it easier to recommend a stroller that would be suited to your child/children.:)

We have a Peg Perego P3 too.:thumbsup2

Our daughter used it for the last WDW trip this past September. We took it 3 times to WDW She hardly sat in it last trip so, we are leaving it home in December.

It is great for the buses because of the umbrella fold. My daughter was very comfortable in it and had no problem at all falling asleep. I am 5'8" and the handles are great for me. The basket underneath is great for holding everything we needed in the parks. The sun canopy is large and covered my daughter well.

We love our Maclaren for a single stroller and the Joovy Caboose for a double

I just bought a Peg Perego Aria. I've researched strollers for the last 2 months. I almost bought the Maclaren Quest, but the two reasons I picked the Aria over the Quest was that the canopy on the Aria is bigger, and the Aria also has a child's tray (small) with cupholders. The Aria's handles seem to sit lower than my regular Graco but they feel more natural to me that way.

There's so many different opinions, try to take your time and test them out in person.

Has anyone bought a stroller online and had it shipped to the resort?

What companies would you recommend?

Looking at Maclaren Volo and Peg Perego Aria and Plinko Lite -does anyone know what the weight limits are on the Peg strollers?

are you looking for something for long term use or something you can use on your trip that has a good weight limit. You may want to look at renting off site from this place http://www.orlandostrollerrentals.com/ the city mini has a high weight limit like the mac. The mac has the highest weight limit of all three strollers you listed at 55 pounds.

I'd rather have a stroller than rent. I plan on taking my younger niece (in 2 years) when she is 4, to DL.

Seems like the best plan now is to buy online and have it shipped as there are more choices of strollers and the prices are so much better than up here.

The most expensive one I have been looking at is the Peg Perego P3. That is more than what I would spend on renting, but it has a lot of features and I would use it again. I do see and take my nieces out alot around town.

I would try and get one that is last years model and is reduced.

Not sure how long it will last, but for the past couple of years if you have the Disney Visa you get free stroller rental at Disneyland. Worth looking in to....

the P3 folds up smaller than the aria

check out your local craigslist for deals too! You can get a used stroller for a big discount, and then you won't feel bad if it gets banged up on your trip.

I also just got a P3 at TJMaxx for $160! It's just missing the cupholder, which I'm not too concerned about.
