My son wanted to try to eat @ The steak house in Canada when we are there over Christmas week and they are already booked up, so besides trying to get in after a cancellation where else would be a good place for steaks in the line of the way they cook @ Canada. We were told the last time we were there that this was the the most popular resturant @ WDW by the head chef there but I quess I did not belive him till now.

Best place for steaks is the Yachtsmne Steakhouse over at the YC resort. Much better than Le Cellier.

Le Cellier may be the most popular restaurant in Epcot, but the head chef may have been a bit off the mark claiming it was the most popular restaurant in all of WDW.
Anyway, I agree with both previous posters that Yachtsman is a better place for good steak. And there is always Shula's.

Another vote for Yachtsman over LeCellier. Not to say that the steak at LeCellier isn't good, just that Yachtsman is better.

I vote for the Yachtsman as well. I liked the entire experience more than LC.

:thumbsup2

When the chef said it was most popular, that may mean that it books the fastest (it's a very small restaurant with limited seating) but it's certainly not the best steak at WDW.

For a true top Steakhouse experiance then Shula's Steakhouse at the Dolphin is the best on property. Now if you are using the DDP and are looking to use credits then the best Steakhouse is the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the YC resort. Jiko at the AKL also has a great filet but is not a steakhouse atmosphare.

I had one heckuva delicious steak sandwich at the Turf Club and Grill yesterday.
I've also had great steaks at Yachtsman and California Grill. :worship:

I am a picky eater it's either steak or macaroni for me. With that said if a Disney resturant serves steak I get it and they all have been good so far.

The best NY strip we had was at Coral Reef (yeah, we were surpised, too!) Better than the strip at Le Cellier and better than the filet at Narcoossee's.

I would also say YS. I had the best Porterhouse! yummy... Narcoosee's had a wonderful filet and lobster tail too.

I second what a pp said about the Coral Reef. The steak there was just awesome.:thumbsup2 I was quite surprised but it was really flavorful and tender.
Good luck!:goodvibes

I actually third the Coral Reef...the steak I had there was the best tasting steak I have ever had...the flavors were very good!!!

Does have a great steak, best I ever had though was at Shula's.On the down side had to sell DW's Toyota to save house after paying for dinner at Shula's.:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

Maybe I was there on a bad day or something, I'll have to disagree with coral reef having 'good' steaks. And the other 2 in my party that got seafood stuff werent exactly pleased with it. I loved the LC maple BBQ steak, but they have since taken that off the menu :confused3 :sad2: :guilty: :sad1:

I may have to try the yachtsman
