Good spot for Block Party Bash?

Hey...what's the best spot to watch Block Party?

My son MUST get a good look at the Incredibles and Woody/Buzz.

We sat on the curb where the walkway comes out from Soarin, and the float that stopped right in front of us had Woody, Jessie and the Green Army Man on it. Woody came over and high-fived my kids, and they also got invited up to dance. He came down off the float right where we were. some of the other characters walked past where we were, but we didn't get to see some of the others (Monsters, Inc; Incredibles) except for when the parade was moving.

Because the parade only has one show stop, you will only get the opportunity to have one float in front of you for an extended period. Otherwise, the floats just pass by and you wave.

The Toy Story float is best seen from the area near the walkway leading to Condor Flats (Soarin/GRR). Either side of the path works. For Incredibles, you would need to sit close where the main entrance path empties into the Sunshine Plaza circle. I always like to confirm with a CM where the best sitting area for my float preference is.

Who is on the floats? I know one is Toy Story and one is the Incredibles. Who else is on them? How do we go about finding out where to sit for the float that we want to stop in front of us?

When I was there last august we ended up sitting just on the large circluar bench area as you just walk in facing towards the hollywood backlot and the float of the incredibles and a bugs life were basically right in front of us and got invited to get up and become part of the bash.

Grab a CM when you get there - they changed directions on the route since the last time we watched this. BUT a CM told us to go to the END of the parade route - less of a wait for the kids to sit through and they throw more balls then than any other location - and they ensure all the kids in that area get one.

Light Blue: Mrs. Incredible aka Elastic Girl.
Blue: A Bugs Life Float

Oh wow - awesome diagram there! I'll have to print that one and save it. For Woody and Buzz, another good place - by the Petting Zoo in DL - the past 3 trips we've seen Woody there every day! If you stick around the Buzz ride, you should also see Buzz at some point. Check City Hall for times too.
