Good sources/brands of paper

Hey, of all the things I am having trouble with getting restarted stamping and card making is finding the plain cardstock. I have no issue finding tons of pretty patterned paper, but for the basics, I don't see in the craft store a pack of basic white cardstock, basic craft paper, or even basic envelopes.

I just do cards, no scrapbooks, so I'd prefer a pack smaller than 12 x 12 if they exist...

Does anyone know of some good sources, brands for the basic papers I need?

If I want just basic white cardstock I either look at Walmart, the dollar store, or Staples- I find that they selll bulk packs of white cardstock for significantly less than anyone else and since it is for printing it is smooth and takes images and coloring well. Again basic envelopes will be sigi=nificantly cheaper at an office supply store than a craft store. By craft paper- do you want the brownish colored paper or just basic colored paper. I have found that the Michael's and Joann's basic cardstock is fine if I am not trying to match it with patterned papers- also look at the colors you are getting. Again Staples sells bulk packs with 4-5 colors of cardstock in 8.5 by 11 sheets.

I buy my cardstock at Michaels or Joanne's when it's 4 packs for $10 and then I always grab a white pack and then I grab colors based on the season.
I'm about to pick up some Stampin Up paper the "in Colors" - the Wisteria is calling my name!

I have always bought my card stock from Stampin Up but might branch out now that I am getting ideas on this board. I get my envelopes at Wal Mart but hope to start making some.
