I know I keep asking questions but I am an obsessive planner. Can anyone give me some ideas as to a good ts restaurant that is not too far from Pop to eat dinner the first day we arrive. We will be driving so we will just be hanging out at the resort the day we get there to rest up for the parks the rest of the week. :hyper:

Chef Mickey's is a good one it get you in that Disney Mood. Kona or Ohanas at Poly are also a good choice. The Boardwalk has some good choices also. We like it go to a resort on the Monorail line for our first nite & so we can ride the monorail.

What are looking for Char Meal, Quiet, all you can eat?

Kae

We are eating at 1900 Park Fare the evening of our arrival. Riding the monorail over and seeing the characters really gets the kids pumped up for the next day!

Okay, I was thinking of Kona, couldn't we ride the monorail to that? What do ya'll think?

From Pop you'll have to drive or take the bus to the Poly.

For some reason I thought you could take the monorail from MK to the Poly but that's okay I think we'll still eat at Kona, so should we drive or take the bus?

OH I didn't see where you said from MK to Poly...oh yes you sure can! I thought you meant from Pop.

I guess I wasn't very clear. We didn't plan on doing much but could we still take the bus from Pop to MK then the monorail to kona even if we didn't plan on going to the parks that day?

Yes you can. :) I answered like that because we don't do a park on arrival day. Sorry!

You can take the bus from POP to the MK and then take the monorail to the Contemp, Grand Fla, or Poly....all have great restaurants in them.....enjoy!
