Good Shoes for Wide Feet?

Sketchers are the only way to go ,, if you live near a Kohl's they have them on sale, can get them as low as 49.99, I ususally see them for 59.99 to 69.99

My DD7 has Crocs. I just cannot bring myself to wear them, no matter how comfortable they might be. Kudos to those of you who are brave enough to look past their...unique look. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the suggestions!

they have different styles of crocs now too :)

if you are dead set against crocs, here's my suggestion: i proly have the widest feet of any woman i've ever met & i love to wear old navy flip flops to the parks. we go commando all day & i never have a problem with them cause they are so comfy. i bet oldnavy.com has some good deals on them now too. last year i got each pair for $2.50. good luck!

Thanks everyone! I have a pair of New Balance on order from Zappos (along with some Keen sandals). So...we'll see! :thumbsup2

I don't like any of them that I've seen (on various websites). Just not me. :goodvibes :confused3

It looks like your already solved your problem. But, I just wanted to chime in with the Skechers lovers. I have wide feet and they are the best fitting tennis shoe I've found. I tried wearing my Crocs Mary Janes in the parks the first day. They were comfy, but didn't give enough arch support. So, I switched to my skechers for the rest of the trip and I had happy feet and legs!

I think I may have to stop down the street at the Skechers store and try some on...a girl can always use more shoes ::yes::

I too have wide feet and agree with everyone about the new balance. I'm a nurse so on my feet all day. Wouldn't wear anything else to work. The skechers are too heavy of a shoe for me. I also noticed that you bought a pair of Keen sandals. Those are my absolute favorites to wear at Disney. Great support and without socks my feet stay a lot cooler.

I have very wide feet. My Crocs were wonderful. No problems AT ALL, even when they got wet.

RYKA....these are the best shoes for wide feet...the best part is they are designed for a womans foot...a bit more narrow in the heel and lots of room for the tootsies...However, order 1/2 size larger than your regular shoe size...you will be in foot heaven!:worship:

I have very wide feet (8EE), plus I wear a lift in my R shoe, so my shoes need to have plenty of room. I swear by Ryka Country Walkers. You can buy them at Onlineshoes.com. You do need to go 1/2 size up, they run small. And they only come in certain colors for the wide width...

I love my Teva's... They are adjustable to fit your feet perfectly! Can wear them all day in the parks then switch to wedge heels for dinner at the resorts w/out any aches or pain! I have worn my wedge heels in the park (just want to be taller :goodvibes) but really killed my feet by the end of the day.

I've got wide feet and when I wore my New Balance, I got blisters and really sore feet.

Same thing with Nikes.

Crocs are the only way for me. I'd much rather be comfortable w/o blisters than worry about how my feet look. Besides, I wore my Mickey Crocs and got lots of compliments on them. Mickey really loved them. :lovestruc

Nope, just not a fan of plastic shoes. :confused3 (I also hate flip flops)

My Keens should arrive today!!

I don't like plastic shoes, either, but I'm not sure what that has to do with Crocs.

all crocs™ brand shoes feature crocs'™ proprietary closed-cell resin, croslite™, which represents a substantial innovation in footwear. the croslite™ material enables us to produce soft, comfortable, lightweight, superior-gripping, non-marking and odor resistant shoes. these unique elements make crocs™ footwear ideal for casual wear, as well as for professional and recreational uses.

Enjoy your keens. :)

Crocs may be resin, but to me, they feel plastic-y. :confused3 No biggie. :)

Nikes tend to run narrow*, so I'm surprised to see them being recommended for folks with wide feet.

I typically wear Reeboks or New Balance.

* in my personal experience. I've also had the same problem when buying hockey skates ... can't wear Bauer ... which is made by Nike ... and I'm off on a tangent, sorry.

The Nikes I have are wide width sneakers. I'm actually a half size smaller in Nikes than in New Balance. Regular width I can't wear.
