We are going next April and want to eat some good seafood. What is a good restaurant for seafood that is on the dining plan?

We had good seafood at Flying Fish Cafe and California Grill. You could also try Coral Reef, but the reviews on the quality of the seafood (it's all fresh, but is it really, really yummy) are mixed.

The best seafood that you can get on the dining plan is at the Flying Fish. Some of the other signatures have good stand-alone seafood entrees, but for variety and innovation, it's really your best option.

What about a non-signature restaurant? I really don't want to use 2 TS credits for one meal. I get great seafood here at home all the time so I don't need to use 2 credits. But didn't know what restaurants were good for seafood. We have eaten once at Coral Reef and it was horrible.

You won't get great seafood for 1 credit on the dining plan. You'll get decent variety at Cape May Cafe, but that's all I can think of. Coral Reef is probably the best in terms of 1-credit seafood, and I agree with you that it's not very good at all.

We ate at Cape May last Oct and really enjoyed the buffet. Planning on going back in Dec!

Not sure what kind of seafood you want, but several members of my travelling party had crab legs at Captain's Grille (Yacht Club.) Apparently they were good, BFF says that she would highly recommend them and they were some of the best she's ever had. (The corn, however, was disappointing, she says.)

ETA: She adds that the shrimp in the pasta dish at Sci-Fi was good, too. I wouldn't know; although the pasta was great I had it with tofu instead, lol!

THIS! :thumbsup2

I will give you my personal guarantee that the Flying Fish is worth using 2 credits for. The food was amazing, and so was the Blood Orange Margarita.

If you are used to really good seafood, then I think you'll be disappointed with most of what's at WDW, especially for 1 TS credit. Mostly you're going to find "tourist" seafood. Although I did have an excellent fish at Kouzzina a couple of years ago. And we thought the Columbia Harbor House fried shrimp basket was pretty good. I haven't eaten at Flying Fish yet, looking forward to trying it in August. I haven't eaten at Cape May either, but buffet seafood is NEVER good, in or outside of the world. Bluezoo looks promising, going to try that one too in August.

The clam bake at Cape May is one of our favorites because of the variety of food available.
