Good Romantic summer read ??

For a fun light read - great for a cruise - "Skinny Dip"!

"Undomestic Goddess" is one of my all time favorites. I really like the fun fluff great funny romantic and happy, although "The Help" was amazing.

One thing I love to do when looking for my next choice is to pick a book I loved, look it up on Amazon, and then go through the "customer who bought this also liked . . ." titles about half way down the page. Look for the ones with the most stars.

Liked "Twenties Girl" (just finished "Wedding Girl" by same author under different name. Sophie Kinsella = Madeleine Wickham). Didn't like "Remember Me" And all time worse book by a favorite author is "Heart of the Matter" by Emily Giffin who wrote "Something Borrowed" and "Something Blue". Latter two books, great. "Heart of the Matter" just bummed me out.

I third Memoirs of a Geisha. I love that book and movie

I have just discovered the Goddess Series by PC Cast, they are funny but with romance. I also like Heather Graham if you like Supernatural elements with romance. These two have definitely been part of my summer reading list.

Thanks everyone appreciate the suggestions. I love being swept away in a good book. If you haven't read her Beatrice Small writes fabulous romantic stories. Her early books with Skye O'Malley are the best. Skye was a female Irish pirate and there is a series of 8 or so books about her and her descendants. Very enjoyable. Very romantic. Skye vs Queen Elizabeth great historical detail. I think the 1st book is called Skye O'Malley.
