There are many restaurants right near the Crossroads area. There are few familiar chains such as Fridays, Pizzeria Uno, Chevy's, Chili's, Macaroni Grill, Olive Garden, Pizza Hut & I'm sure a few more I can't even think of.
There is also an Orlando Ale House which we think is outstanding. It has a very extensive menu & is very reasonable priced. We have eaten there numerous times. When you are at the Crossroads you make a right onto 535. It will be on your left (I think at the 1st signal you hit). I highly recommend it.
There is also a Pebbles right in the Crossroads Plaza. Some of the guide books list this as being expensive, but I have to disagree. It usually costs our family of 5 about the same to eat at Pebbles or Fridays and personally I would rather eat at Pebbles. It is a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere and I think the food is outstanding.
There is a Carabbas which I think is on 192 which has great Italian food. I know this is a chain, but we don't have one in our area.
We eat off property very often because of price. We love WDW, but we find that we get a better for meals at an off-site restaurant.
