Good Rental Car Company-SD & Orange County Airport

Any car rental recommendations for SD & Orange county airport..we will be flying into SD & out of Orange County......

Also...any thoughts on when to book airfare...we are flying out June 24th..and so far on Continental (from Newark) we can get $290 per person/roundtrip..into SD and out of Orange County.....we have never flown to CA is this a good price...any airfare sales coming out?

As for San Diego, we used Alamo last week with good success.

I just booked a full-size out of SD and returning to OC for one week for $175 with the "1 free day" Entertainment coupon and discount. Thist is at least $40 less that all the other companies I checked, and I have had a good experience with Alamo in Phoenix.
