Good price on autograph books?

Just checked ebay and there are some sets of autograph books with the fat pen and a carrying case. They are spiral bound with a metal spiral, not plastic. One would run me $13 with shipping. Is this a decent price? Or does the Disney store have some I could get a little cheaper? First time to WDW as a mom so I haven't done this part before! I am thinking we would like to have the book with us already when we arrive so we don't have to stop immediately. We will be checking into POP first...do you think they would have an autograph book and pen for a reasonable amount? Again, this part is all new to me so any help is appreciated! Thanks!

i don't know if you're interested/have time - but i made my own last time. i designed it to look like sorcerer's mickey (his head) and included all of my trip info as well as blank pages for autographs and i bought a cheap big pen. i'm not that creative, so it can be done.

I've thought about it...it's whether I have the time or not for a project since we leave in two and half weeks. bsmcneil, where did you find the right size book/paper? I wanted a smaller one to carry around, not a regular book size. Thanks!

Do you have a Disney Store at a mall nearby? They are only $6.50 there!!

When we stayed at POP last October, they sold the regular autograph books and several types of fat pens in the gift shop. I would just wait and buy it there.

Go to The Disney Store - $6.50 including a pen. There are 2 styles ---
Mickey and Tink.

I know last week the autograph books were 25% off so I got 2 for $10.

Our Disney store doesn't have autograph books . Maybe I'll have to find another store...

Ours is out too! We went Thursday after I read the suggestions here. The CM there said they had sold out of all of them; we missed it by about a week. They probably will not get any more for about a month. That won't work since we leave in 2 weeks! My parents will try to pick one up at a store near them. If not...I think we'll just wait and get it at POP while we check in. Thanks for all of the info everyone!

I highly recommend that you just wait & buy it there.

You sound like me...always wanting to be prepared, so you want the books ahead of time. But don't worry. The gift shop is a minute walk from where you check in & there will be plenty of different types to choose from.

You won't lose any "park time" if you buy your books at the resort. Those autograph books are EVERYWHERE in Disney. You'll see them dozens of times each day.
