Can someone give me an idea on what a good rate is per night at DLH? We're planning a trip the 9/5 through 9/9, and what I'm getting (for 4 nights) is $1250 PLUS tax and resort fees. Something tells me that's more standard, than a special or Fall price. Can anyone give me a history of what this time of year usually costs, and when I should know to book?

Thanks!

I just checked my tour operator and the price including tax and all fees in Canadian $ for those dates is $1394.64. So that sounds like a standard price, not a special as $1250 plus tax and resort fees can add up to more than what I am charging.

I wouldn't count on specials this year in September, as Cars Land opens this summer. Any seniors in your party? You can get 30% if you do.

What age do they consider "senior"?

Some places around here (Pacific Northwest) go down to 50 for "senior".

I actually think there will be some sort of a discounted promotion for the time frame you are looking at. Last year promotions for your time frame were made available around July 26th. I would definitely keep checking and apply the discount if and when it comes out. :thumbsup2

I didn't think we'd qualify for Senior, and now I'm sure. DH (the oldest) is 55 (so can we get a discount for Steakhouse 55? LOL~j/k). :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm still hoping for a discounted hotel stay. I'll just hang tight for the time being.

Thanks!

I am not sure what the standard price is but your rate sounds pretty good to me. We are staying in july for two nights (our first time) and we are paying almost $900 total and that is with a 10% ap discount! That is crazy high for us, the most we will ever have paid for a hotel but we wanna try it finally!! I'm wondering if ours is so high because it is the middle of summer, September is still hot though, but maybe the fall is a little cheaper, hmmmm:(
