Good Price for Airfare from Philly?

We leave for WDW on 5/1/03. I've been checking Expedia and Travelocity and the lowest fare I've seen is $186.50 RT, coach, on a non-stop flight from Philly to Orlando. I definitely want a non-stop flight! Has anyone seen a lower rate from Philly or is this a consistent rate?

I've been checking religiously for our 5/16/03 trip and I've come up with the exact same price. I'm still waiting for Air Tran to open up my dates. They may have already released your dates so you may want to check with them. I'm also going to check into SW out of Baltimore when they release my dates but that wouldn't be for awhile. Good luck and keep me posted on what you find and I'll do the same!

I was able to book this year for $164.50 rt with US Air. I booked this back in June. Last year I paid about $190.00, it had been $236.00, but the price went down after 9/11.

We got $175 (with tax and fees) RT nonstop on AirTran for our December 02 trip. Seems to be about avarage for a 'discounted' fare. I tried the BWI/MCO, PHL/TPA, and BWI/TPA (plus Allentown and all those other little airports) and could not do significantly better. I won't fly from BWI unless I can save at least $100 total on two fares. 3 hours of my time driving to and from BWI from Philly is not worth less than $100 IMHO. Same with Newark, AC, Allentown, etc. Ditto on Sanford and Tampa. Now, if I could get SWA from BWI for $99 roundtrip, that would be a different story...

I got direct fligts back in July from Philly on USAIR.com for $146. I have to change the flight now for daughter and the prices have gone up considerably. I just got a $176 on Airtran for the days she needs.

I think for a nonstop far that rate is pretty good...I got a connecting flight sale for a lot cheaper....but it has a connection...

186.50 is the cheapest I've seen also. We usually fly out of Newark but are going philly this time because of thr huge difference in price.

Spirit Air out of Atlantic City currently has a fair of $199 for a nonstop flight ...friends just booked it for march...
