Good places to eat at Animal Kingdom park?

We stay at AKL every year so we naturally make it over to Animal Kingdom. We usually only go for a half day because we've seen the animals many times and it doesnt offer much by way of rides. This year Pandora will be open so we're probably going to be there a whole day...

Any restaurants worth checking out. We've only ever snacked there so not really sure what they have that is worthwhile.

Thanks!

Tusker House is very nice.

QS - Satu'li Canteen
TS - Yak and Yeti (I'd second the recommendation for Tusker House if you like buffets)
Bar - Nomad Lounge (I like their vegetarian summer rolls and cheese board)

Yak and Yeti TS was meh for what my expectations were.

Yak and Yeti CS was good and large quantity for a CS meal, especially if you're focused on getting everything done.

Tiffins would have been passable had our server not been terrible, I do hear a lot of great things about it though.

Nomad Lounge was great but we didn't eat there, their Mustang Coffee is one of my favorite drinks on property.

If I was doing a whole day in AK I'd end my night with a meal at AKL at either Jiko or Sanaa with lunch at Yak and Yeti CS or Flame Tree BBQ, but I've never been so I can't comment on Flame Tree.

It's really all subjective, two posts up the person didn't have good service at Tiffins and recommends Sanaa and Jiko. Tiffins is one of the places on property we've had the best service we have ever had and we loved the food. We wouldn't eat again at either Jikos or Sanaa if you paid for it. Jikos the food was o.k. and the service was o.k. but the price was over $200 for two entres and two wine flights and not worth it. Sanaa we had the worst service we've ever had on property and our food was just passable. My son even had to send a drink back, which is unheard of.

Tiffins is wonderful, I can't wait to go back in December. I've only had drinks at the Nomad Lounge, but that's worth a stop, too.

For quick service my favorite is Harambe Market. I like the ribs there better than Flame Tree.

Flame Tree and Yak and Yeti counter service are my favorite quick service in all of Disney World. And I think tusker house is really fun.

But I think Animal Kingdom still doesn't take a whole day. You'll wanna return in the evening for rivers of light, but you'll have plenty of time to leave the park for a meal if you want.

Our favorite counter service is Flame Tree! Great food quality, portions, and we love the views around the seating area. This past trip we went to Tiffins. While it wasn't bad, it didn't Wow us, and it was expensive for the experience. We did have a drink at the bar, and walked around the deck, which we thought was lovely, and will definitely go back again, for a break. One of our places that has been consistently good over the years, is the Rainforest Cafe at the entrance to the park! I know it's a chain restaurant, and not exactly a Disney theme, but we always get a good meal here, with great service and reasonable pricing.
