I need a place to have a late lunch at in Hollywood Studios. I am not sure if I should even do an ADR, but I am open to it. I am waiting until after the Star Wars Dessert Party to have dinner, either grilling out(I am staying in the campground) or getting something at Disney Springs. I am mainly aiming for 2pm-3pm for lunch and doing shows and attractions when they are less crowded(when most people in the park will be having lunch), and the dessert party is at 7:15 that night. Any recommendations?

I'd go to Sci-Fi for late lunch, if you're going with an ADR. Or we like Pizza Rizzo Formerly Pizza Planet, if you want counter service.

I'd recommend 50's PrimeTime. It was one of my favorite dining experiences from the most recent trip I took.

I may end up having to do a counter service. For the week I am going(September 23-28), ADRs are getting difficult to get a good one for the later period. I am doing Hollywood Studios on September 25th since it is the only day I had free on this trip. I will keep check for Sci Fi to open up though. Most of what I will be doing from 11AM-2PM will be shows, but I might be able to get an attraction or two or a character meet in, if one is available.

I ALWAYS have a meal, usually lunch, at 50s Prime Time on a WDW trip. In fact I will be eating there in October AND November. I am trying Sci Fi for the first time in November.

We love the PT 50s for a TS. For QS we enjoy the Backlot Express and love the Pizza Planet, which is now Rizzos.

You could just head into the Tune In Lounge at 50's Primetime and eat at the bar, no ADR required.

For lunch, even a late one I'd suggest Sci-Fi. They have great burger choices and the atmosphere of the place is so great. :yay:

I was also considering the 50's Prime Time, but that is more of a dinner experience IMHO. :rainbow:

Recommend the Hollywood Brown Derby for the Cobb Salad the the grapefruit dessert (enough food to split)

Hollywood Brown Derby also has an outside lounge with a few hearty-looking small plates.

I agree with everyone on this, the cobb salad is my favorite. Sadly I can no longer eat the grapefruit cake since I can't have grapefruit but it is to die for.

Just me on my own.

I can't either. Medical condition affecting my stomach keeps me from eating acidic foods.

We loved 50's Prime Time! I've also recently heard a lot of great things about Mama Melrose, though I've not been there. In Disney Springs my ABSOLUTE fav is Raglan Road. Actually it's probably in my top 3 favorite places at Disney.
