good place to bridge 2 trips -- possibly alone?

i'm going for what will end up being approximately 3 weeks in december/january. i'm going with a friend for the first bit, then meeting my family 4 nights later. i may be alone, so what do you recommend for cheap, but safe and niceish for 4 nights? my only issue right now is that the dates that i will be alone are 12/25 - 12/29, which makes everything incredibly expensive. any suggestions? if there's anywhere in the downtown disney area that is safe, on the cheap side, nice, and has shuttle service to the parks, i'd probably be the most happy but i'm willing to look into all suggestions. thanks!!

If it were me, I'd stay at the Hilton Garden Inn that is walking distance to SeaWorld, get one of the SeaWorld passes that gives the second day free and do two days seeing some shows there. They have some fairly reasonable tasty room service if you just want to relax in your room a little. I love this little property -- so clean, great staff / Have stayed here twice on mini trips.
