We are going to Disneyland in June, we will be there on our 17 year wedding anniversary!! I was wondering where you guys would recommend to have a nice dinner at in Disneyland? It will just be us two, no kids. Thanks

Napa Rose is gonna be the best date night dinner on property with Steakhouse 55 #2 in my book. Either one you cant go wrong.

Here is what I suggest to do for a relaxing adult date night:

Pre dinner drink at the Napa Rose Lounge or Hearthstone Lounge
Dinner reservation at Napa Rose
Retire back to Napa Rose lounge for dessert and post dinner drink. Big comfortable seats to work off the food coma!

Last trip we wanted a nice dinner and looked at the menus for Napa Rose, S55 & Carthay Circle (having been to none of them before). To our surprise we liked the Carthay Circle menu a lot more than Napa Rose so we went to Carthay for the first time & had zero regrets. It was an AMAZING meal (and we didn't even eat the cheese rolls that everyone raves about!) & I can't wait to go back. The food was beyond excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice dinner. Napa Rose's menu changes seasonally so that's why I recommend pulling the menus up and going wherever appeals to you the most food wise. (All of them have full bars, extensive wine lists & atmosphere that's great for an anniversary dinner.)

we are going for our 20th wedding anniversary on 2-20 and I booked dinner at the Steakhouse 55. We are saying at the Grand in the villas so we will check out the lounge at Napa Rose.

If you want an in park dinner, I LOVED Blue Bayou. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was charming.

My two favorites are Carthay Circle and Napa Rose. You can't go wrong with either of those.

We are definitely in the minority but prefer both Carthay Circle and Steakhouse 55 to Napa Rose, I don't know if we had an off night there, but we were not impressed with the food and our waiter was not good at all. We have consistently had excellent food and service at Carthay Circle, and our one visit to Steakhouse 55 was very good.

As an alternative suggestion, Catal in Downtown Disney is REALLY good and a good place for a special meal. We love Napa Rose but I think Catal is better than Carthay Circle, personally.

We did Steakhouse 55 for our 5th wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it.

We've enjoyed all of our meals at SH55, Carthay and Napa Rose but for us the best of the best has to be the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose.

We did the chef's counter at Napa Rose for our 10th anniversary and loved it. However, we didn't have the experience that most describe. We didn't have any interaction with chefs, and they didn't ask for our likes/dislikes for a personalized menu (they did ask about allergies). But even so, everything they brought out was delicious, and sometimes we just traded if we got something we didn't care for. We had a great waiter who explained what all the dishes were since the chefs were not interacting, and they did an excellent job with wine pairings. I recommend it, and I'm only mentioning the shortcomings so you're aware that experiences vary. At first I was disappointed because it wasn't what I had read about from others, but it was still by far the best meal we've had at Disneyland. I found SH55 to be good food, but not particularly memorable.

We always chose Napa Rose for the celebratory occasions.
We do like Carthay Circle also.
Never been to SH 55. Should we give it a try?

I'd say if you are a carnivore, definitely try it! We got engaged there in October 2015, and it was EXCELLENT. Great service, great food, and nice atmosphere.

Whilst I've heard good reports about Cathay Circle and Napa Rose, I haven't actually eaten there personally. Though my wife and I can also recommend Catal for an anniversary meal - it is where we celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary when we visited Anaheim back in October 2016. Prices are not cheap but the food and levels of service are seriously out of this world.

I personally love the Napa Rose at California adventure hotel! the food is really good and for a special treat my husband and I do the Chef's dinner...where you sit at the counter in front of the kitchen, the Chef's chat with you and you get personalized meals! it's really a great way to celebrate a special occasion..next month will be our 37th wedding anniversary and that's what we are going to do! (we had our honeymoon at Disney world!) Happy Anniversary to you and your husband!:)
