Down here in south MIssissippi we have quite an abundance of oriental restaurants. I always wanted to stop and eat at one of the ones in Epcot, but are they any good?

Arent there 3 in Epcot?

Any Buffet?

Being Asian myself, I am really picky about Asian food. So I haven't tried much of the Asian food served in WDW. THe only place that I do love is the restaurants in Japan in Epcot. My husband, who is half Asian, and I always eat dinner in Japan because we love sushi and tempura. The food there has always been satisfactory to us and we love it. I would recommend Tempura Kiku, Teppanyaki or Matsumono Lounge.

In Animal Kingdom there was a counter service in the area of Anandapur, and we had chicken satay and potstickers. Both were very good. Other than that we haven't sampled much Asain food in the World.

I had put off eating at 9 Dragons at the China Pavillion in Epcot because I had read so many average reviews of it in the guide biiks and online. I finally tried it a few weeks ago. I was alone so didn't order any of the main items but the Dim Sum was great!!!
I thought Teppanyaki in Japan was abopve average. The meats were excellent but the veggies were bland and uninspiring.

We also like Yakatori House for a quiet lunch. Food is nice - not spectacular - but the Japanese gardens are lovely.

I would like to try the Tempura Kiku, sometime!

Another vote for Yakatori House!!
