Can anyone recommend a particular store or website for a nursing tank top you have tried and like? It would be nice to have the built in shelf bra and avoid a regular bra in the florida heat. Thank you!!!

Motherwear was my FAVORITE place to buy tops when I was nursing (I have 2 kids so went through this 4 yrs apart). Here is the URL: http://www.motherwear.com/

I bought a couple of their tank tops and they work rather well - they have several different styles and I found some worked better for being discrete than others. Their tops are well made and substantial and they have a good return policy. They also sell a sort of "undershirt" you could wear under a regular shirt and nurse. That might get hot in the hottest part of summer though. I'm not sure I've ever seen a nursing shirt that had the bra built in. Give that site a look though!

Expressiva! Motherwear was ok but expressiva's stuff seemed to hold up better and there were a lot more options. They are at expressiva.com. Have fun shopping!

Oh my...I saw the title of your post in the main topic
"Good nursing tanks for WDW?" and I thought
"Someone's bringing baby fish with them on their vacation????" :scratchin

'CLICK' Oh...tank top...not fish tank.

Obviously I'll be no help in your tank top search but I hope it turns out well and thanks for giving me a giggle, even at my own expense. :rotfl:

personally I like wearing a men's A-cut undershirt with a button up shirt over. the weigh of the top shirt depends on the weather.

I can slip out the arm openning leaving my tummy covered and use the shirt to cover up the rest of the way.

I've found nuring tops a bit expensive and also cumbersum to figure out how to make it work

I usually just buy tank tops with the shelf bras. I get them from Old Navy and Motherhood has some good ones as well. I am glad you posted this, because I had not even thought about that for our trip in April. I was hoping to have my ds (13 months) weaned by then, but that is not going to happen!

I think the company is called Travelsmith- they are not nursing but they have a nice bra built in- Good luck! I hope to have my guy weaned by the time we go to Florida!(he'll be 18 months by then let's hope so!!lol)

Target's In Due time ones are really great. I loved them. They were very supportive and I'm not a small girl. I was impressed.

There is also something called bellybands that is sort of like a tube top for your tummy. They go under your shirt so your tummy won't show while you are nursing. I'm thinking of getting one for our May trip. There is no way I could go without a bra, and I don't want another thing to have to fumble with.

Totally agree with this! I bought one to take with us on our trip in January and it was great! The tank was recommended to me by a friend, and it fit really well. I'm also not a "small" woman and it was really comfortable!
