I am looking for good restaurant suggestions for our last meal at Disney World. We won't be in the parks that day, so we are looking at resorts and Disney Springs. We were planning on Ohana for dinner, but recently all the reviews have been very negative. We do have plans for 1900 Fare dinner and Whispering Canyon. Boma and Saana sound awesome to me, but the rest of the group is less adventurous. Any thoughts?

One of my favorites is the Wave. I tend to think this is an underrated places. I have had great meals there every time I have gone there. This is my stand by non park place if I cant decide on where to go.

'Ohana is wonderful. Don't believe the negatives! It's the same as it's been for the last 10 years, IMO.

Others we loved:

Cape May Cafe (Beach Club)
Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian - 2 DDP credits)
Shutters (Caribbean Beach)

Boatwright's (POR) also looks great. We ate there years ago, and I was not impressed, but the menu has changed pretty drastically since then. We're trying it again this year.

It depends on whether you're looking for something "fancy" (e.g., a Signature) or something more casual. If you're interested in Signatures, I would highly recommend Nacroossee's (Grand Floridian) or Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge). For a more casual meal, I really like Raglan Road (DTD) or sticking with 'Ohana.

Cape May and the Wave are 2 we always go to. The Ohana reviews are questionable. From the ones I have read, the later in the evening you go, the more backed up it gets, and the service declines quite a bit. That is just my observation of it. I have been to Ohana 3 times for dinner and 2 of the 3 were great, the last time, our server was being run ragged, as he was covering way more tables than he should of.

Raglan Road at Dis Springs is top notch both for food and entertainment. I love both Boma and Sanaa. However, less adventurous eaters in your party would enjoy Boma out of the 2 because of the large array of both traditional and a few different food offerings. Boma has a strong traditional offering including beef carvery and salmon as well as chicken nuggets & mac 'n cheese for kids. Plus a great salad and soup offering and tasty desserts. For the more adventurous, it also offers a variety of different African-themed offerings. I wouldn't hesitate to take more conventional diners and kids to Boma. Perhaps search on youtube for a Boma buffet video so you can see what's there.

By my last day at Disney, I'm looking for something more casual, especially if I have a plane to catch. We're tired, have been eating all week, and are looking for something a bit more simple. A meal at Wolfgang Puck Express and then maybe Ghiardelli for a sundae is always a great choice. Lots of options that way.

What is your budget? Who is in your party -ages? Others have given good suggestions. I agree with Raglan Road for a moderately priced restaurant.

This would be our last Table Service credit on the Dining Plan. 6 adults, 9 year old and 4 year old.

Cape May Cafe at the BC is a good 1 TS dinner. We like ESPN too but they have a new menu since we have been. The entertainment at Raglan Road would be fun for your group.

Yes to this about BOMA! We went with three very picky adults and two kinda picky adults and all 5 of us loved it. Plus, going to Animal Kingdom Lodge is an adventure! Lots of wild animals to see and a fabulous lobby full of artwork and grandeur!

Boma!

'Ohana is sort of a rite of passage that everyone should experience. If you end up not liking it, so be it, but at least you tried. Personally, it's one of my favorites. They are serving you meat on a stick, so naturally there will be people who do not like the way something has been cooked (sometimes legitimately, sometimes it's just a personal preference thing). I would not talk yourself out of it if you are otherwise intrigued and interested. With that said, Boma and Sanaa are great (and can be, but don't have to be, adventurous), and Il Mulino (Swan/Dolphin) is also a favorite if Italian interests you.

We really enjoyed Trattoria Al Forno at the Boardwalk last year. We also love Trails End Buffet which has something for everyone, so good! and Ohana! That dessert...

Don't choose whether to go or not based on negative opinions, for every negative one u hear there is s positive one out there somewhere too. If it's something that u want to do and u have checked out the menu, do it. Same goes for everything, some will love, some will hate every single restaurant, every park--(AK vs HS, have u heard that one) dining plan or no dining plan. Do your research and decide what will work for you, your family, and their tastes, personalities and preferences.

P.s. We loved Ohana's, didn't care as much for 1900 Park Faire, but I don't regret either one, I want to eventually do every dining restaurant option there is.
