Mommies, I need help! I've recently switched from using Pampers. My DD got the rash from "you know where" and I REFUSE to buy another Pamper-ever!

I need a new night time diaper. She's peeing through everything I put her in at night. I'm tired of waking early every morning to change sheets and pajamas.

What have you used that works???

When my DS was little, he is now 12 I used Huggies nighttime diapers worked great.

When our kids started peeing through diapers we moved them up to the next size and that took care of it.

Same here. And I used Pampers until DD was out of diapers and pull ups and never had rash issues. I did have to start cutting back on how much she drank at night though to minimize the insane amount of nighttime peeing. My DD is a drinker, still is at 7. I go thru milk and crystal light lemonade like crazy. Maybe your munchkin is drinking too much before bedtime and you can slowly cut back and see if that helps?

^ that.

my answer was going to be "a bigger sized diaper."

By any chance was the rash from the new "Dry Max" diapers. There have been a lot of issues with those causing rashes, etc.

If Pampers worked you might consider going back to the regular baby dry ones that don't have the new dry max stuff.

we use huggies overnights. Very rarely have a leak-through.

ditto!

I used Huggies and started leaking and now I use the Pampers...I think cruisers...I have used a store brand called Cuties and they were OK too.

That's exactly what our issue was. I've never seen a rash as bad as that. I would LOVE to go back to the Cruisers or Baby Dry, but even those have the "Dry Max" listed on the box. I can't find any of the old regular Pampers. I'm sad about that because they were always perfect, never any leaks. Now I can't find anything I'm happy with.

I'll try the Huggies Overnights though. Thanks ladies.

Did you buy the new type of pampers? I've heard alot of reports of rashes with those. The babydry still haven't had the new formula in them yet so we'll be using those til they change hopefully we'll be potty trained soon! *crossing fingers*

We use Target brand Up and Up diapers. They work great and cost 50% less than the brand name. I used to use only Pampers until I tried the Target brand and I love them.

We always used Pampers or Luvs. My kids both had strange skin reactions to anything but. LOL! Luvs has a leek gard gaurantee not sure if that applies to night time or not but it may be worth a try. Other than that I agree with the above posts of trying the next size up.

I just looked at our Target and just now on the Pampers website and the regular "baby dry" diapers do not have dry max. Crusiers and Swaddlers have switched to dry max but I'm seeing the regular baby dry still online and in stores.

How old is she and what size diaper is she in? I am constantly battling the middle of the night sheet changing with my 3 year old Moose!

When he was really little I would just go up a size and then once he got to about size 5 I started using the Huggies Nightime diapers. Those where fine until he was about 2, then I started having to use a diaper doubler with those!! Then at about 2.5 those started leaking through so I went to the Pull-Up overnights in the 2T-3T and 3T-4T. WHEN those stopped working which was recently, even with a doubler, I started using the Pamper's Overnight training pants which they make bigger. That seems to still be working unless he drinks his tub water!

My DS is 3 years old, 43lbs and over 42inches.

My 9 week old is in size 3 Huggies at night but needs one change at night because he is a tummy sleeper and the entire front of the diaper would soak through while the back was bone dry!

ETA: Here's a question for you ... typically kids are potty trained completely at night last right? They make Huggies Pull-Up, regular day time diapers, in 5T and 6T. WHY don't they make a nightime one in that size? Wouldn't that make sense????

I just switched from Pampers too, due to a very bad rash (it was really a red, warm to touch, raised area and not rashy) to Huggies though she has leaked out a few times too. She's in the right size (size 3, 19 lbs, 1 yr old) and too young to "limit" what she drinks before bed. I'm actually starting to use cloth, so we'll see!

Good luck!

Try lining the diaper with a pad meant for incontinence (not a sanitary pad for women, something meant for urine - like Poise). Place the pad in the area where the urine is going to get aimed towards, if you get my drift.

This will absorb a lot of it, and then the diaper won't get so overloaded that it leaks.

Good luck!
