Looks like we have the approval of the wise and almighty Chat Mistresses to hold Tech Chats a couple times a month!

We'll be hanging out in the Main Chat Room on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 9:00pm EST, so drop by and see us some time. Don't forget to bring your questions and / or your expertise.

And hopefully it will be good news for non-techies as well. I assume that this will be aimed at providing tech help, on a more immediate question/answer basis, to those that need it.

Obviously all questions would be welcome but will there be a topic focus for each one? Like one focused on PM, one on signatures, one on web sites and image posting, one on general HTML and vB code for fonts, colors etc., one for general questions including non-DIS... Just some ideas.

Lets be sure to "talk" this as it gets closer. Although it would probably be fun, we don't just want those with answers to come or for people to think that is what it is about. Also I think it important to let people know that not only are people with no technical experience welcome but they are encouraged to come. I think there are probably a lot of people that are afraid to ask a question for fear of it sounding "stupid". We ought to stress that there are no "stupid" questions!!

Yes, we will be concentrating the topic of these chats on a specific subject. For our intitial Chat on Nov. 19th, we'll be going over some of the vBulletin features and continue on in following weeks with other topics. Naturally, any and all questions will be welcomed.

This should prove to be a great learning opportunity for many, me included!
