Good news and bad news....

My prayers are with you. I had 3 miscarriages in between my 2nd and 3rd child. I was so nervous during my pregnancies after that. It will be a long nine months but in the end I am certain you will have a beautiful bundle of joy! Cruising will always be there. Maybe you can just delay and have a "family" celebration cruise! Best wishes to you. I will be thinking of you. Feel free to PM me if you just need an understanding ear.

I am scheduled for the Feb. 2005 cruise that you were scheduled to be on. I promise to have an extra desert to celebrate you and your new bundle while on board!

Ima Princess - congrats, I could right a book on procedures for canceling trips, between my 2 children, I was pregnant 10 times, and once after my 4 year old, long story, no infertility issues, just miscarriages, ectopics, blighted ovums, etc, etc, (I know too much info, but it helps to talk!!!) We decided to travel alot because I couldn't deal with what was happening to us. Don't cancel yet, (not to say something will happen), but trust me, its a bummer to cancel and something does happen, just makes it worse), wait till after your 12 weeks, if all is well, cancel, spend the bucks and go on that trip!!! As long as your healthy and your Doc says its okay, go and enjoy!!

I am so very excited for you!! That is incredible news!! I had 3 miscarriages in a row after my third baby!! When we found out I was pregnant again, we held our breathe for what seemed like forever!! Fortunately, our fourth baby was indeed our little miracle and certainly a gift from god, hence his name Matthew!!! He just turned four in February!! I will keep you in my thoughts and send prayers your way!! Congratulations again!! I am again so very excited for you and your hubby!

We were planning a cruise for our family get together after I got out of the navy and we were trying to figure out a way to help my sister, her husband and their 2 kids to afford to go on the cruise AND pay for the plane tickets from Alaska (they cost just as much as the cruise, if not more) and then my sister calls us up and tells us that she's pregnant. Granted her baby will be about 8 months by the time our cruise rolls around, but none of us can afford to pay for ourselves and add an extra one to hers so she cancelled on us. The funny thing about the whole situation was when we were figuring out how much my mom and I could help her out, I told her to not get pregnant or we couldn't do it and that would be the only excuse I would accept for her to not go! She's just going to wait until the new one will be older and they live south of Canada again! Congrats on your pregnancy!

Prayers and happy thoughts are coming at you from Virginia! I had a miscarriage back in December so I know how heartbreaking it can be! We just got back to trying again for baby #2 after taking a break.

Good luck and I I hope you have to cancel that cruise! You could reschedule in the Fall of 2005 maybe? My daughter was 10 months old when we took her on her first Disney Cruise. She had a blast!

I hope you have a dull and boring pregnancy!

Congrats!!! We are happy for you.
We will put in a prayer for you, but you have to have faith and believe! I know you are concern about history, but don't think,prepare, etc. for the worse, only think/plan for the best.

My wife miscarried our first on EASTER SUNDAY morning, 1996. Needless to say it was the worse day/EASTER SUNDAY of our lives. It was a rough couple of months. We prayed together and encouraged each other every day and looked forward to the future. Three months later she was pregnant again. Believe it or not, the very next year (ON EASTER SUNDAY!!!) in 1997, our son was born.

Miscarried on Easter Sunday, 1996 - First son was born on Easter Sunday, 1997 so WE DO STILL BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, so you should too.

Think positive and keep the faith!!!
