Good Neighbor Hotel w/a DLR view?

Hi there,

I am completely new to Disneyland but we are planning a trip over the next year. Are there any Good Neighbor Hotels that offer a "theme park view" of any of the DLR parks?

If so, which one and is it a good hotel & reasonably priced?

When we stayed at the HOJO we had a view of the tip of the matterhorn which was cool. We did stay at the Paradise Pier not a good neighbor hotel and had the most incredible view of Ca Adventure Park.

Thanks! Are the Hilton & HoJo's reasonably priced hotels? & do you have to pay extra for "theme park views"?

I'm not sure what your definition of "reasonably priced" is, but we had considered staying at the Embassy Suites with a park view room for our trip a month ago. The rate was around $140 with the AAA discount, which we felt was reasonable.

I have stayed at the Marriott Convention Center and was able to see the fireworks from my room. My room was on one of the higher floors, like 10th or 11th. It was on the Club/Business level. There is another hotel in front of the Marriott, blocking the view to the park.

I felt like I was being tortured, because after work, I could sit in my room and watch the fireworks....wishing I was there to visit DLR instead of working...

HOJO's has Entertainment rates for certain nights for about $79 a night for a park view.

I'm in Disney World mode, so anything under $150/night is reasonable to me!
