I stayed at the Candy Cane Inn this past June and I have nothing bad to say about it, it was wonderful, however it seems to be booked for my upcoming trip in March, so my question is, to those of you who use the Good Neighbor Hotels, which is the next best or where you have you stayed and not had any problems. Thank you so very much.:goodvibes

If we can't stay at the Candy Cane, which is our favorite, we stay at the HoJo on Harbor. The rates are a little cheaper and my DH and I can have a king size bed. The hotel is always clean and the beds are comfortable.

Thank you so very much!!!:goodvibes Do you happen to know if they also have rooms with two double beds??:)

We stayed at the Tropicana. It was great! 2 queen beds, right across the street from DL, great pool area. Helpful employees, great rates. We will stay there again!!

We've booked a room with two double beds for our trip in Novemeber at HoJo's.

I can't say anything about the hotel since we haven't been, but I can say that they have been very helpful everytime I have called/emailed them.

If you decide to stay there check out this thread (it might save you a lot of $$, it did me:thumbsup2 )...

We enjoyed the Tropicana very much. The location cannot be beat, the pool area is nice and they do have a free continental breakfast (basic but again, free). The staff was very nice and helpful. Of the four offsite places I have stayed on Harbor its my favorite. I do also really like the HoJo. It has a nicer pool area than the Tropicana and is also a farther walk. But it has lovely grounds, really nice large rooms and is less of a motel feel than many of the others. But I just love that Tropicana location!
