Good name wasted on a bad attraction

Maelstrom has such a powerful sound to it.
Unfortunately it is attached to a rather poor ride...

Any other mismatches?

I am not impressed by a big troll head...and I don't know how to make a meme of that gymnast who is not impressed.

Maelstrom should be reserved for some big, scary extravagant uber ride. The current ride should be renamed Tepid Troll Tunnel...or something more suitable.

I disagree even more with your further example but,
since Disney is not going to change the name of the attraction anyway,
you have every right to dislike it.

Agreed. An apt name for a ride I greatly enjoy.

I think that's pretty accurate for what happens on the ride.

I thought it strange, but so be it....was not trying to "troll", even though I used the word...

I was just always underwhelmed by it.

Soarin' on the other hand, is perfectly named.

My family loves the ride my youngest son never wanted to get off. If you don't enjoy it that's fine just less people I have to stand in line with.

It was originally called "SeaVenture" before it opened.

I like Maelstrom. I think that's a good name for it.

Dinosaur used to be called Countdown to Extinction, which I think is a better name. We have a pin with the original name on it.
