i have to agree somewhat.....i wonder if it is because there are more adults at the BWV? one thing i've definately noticed is that families with children are less likely to talk to strangers (not neccessarily a bad thing tho). we always greet ppl along the BW, walkways, inside and out.
and i almost always have someone approach me to start long talks around the quiet pool, in the stores, on the BW.....my DD and DH know that if a conversation lasts 10-15 minutes, i may be there a while
btw, we did find there were more non-english speaking guests at OKW - another valid reason to not want to converse. that may contributed to your deduction.
i do understand that many ppl are enjoying their family on vaca, and want to keep all their focus on one another. neither type of personality is wrong imho, but part of our vacation fun
is meeting new ppl.
btw, we find EPCOT - specifically WS - to be the most friendly park, (very possibly the alcohol, tho we don't drink much) followed by DHS, AK, and MK. we always find ppl are very interactive at mini-golf (how can one not when the balls go everywhere except where you planned, and most don't take the game seriously??

)
as far as mods go, i think CBR was the most friendly, and BWI number 1 for deluxes (YC in 2nd - maybe the adult theory really is true

). we've never stayed at a value, so no input there.
