Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast

What are the benefits of doing this?

We did this last June and had breakfast in the plaza. The food was pretty much the same as in the Newport Bay but it did mean we could get up slightly later and still be at the park for the start of EMH but having a 9.30 slot meant that we couldn't dash over to the studios to get on the parachutes at opening.

If you're staying at NPB or SL then it's the same food as your hotel breakfast (bit more choice than if you're at tr Cheyenne or Santa Fe)

We did it when staying at SL as it meant we could do EMH and not have to eat at 7am like we would if we had hotel breakfast.

Personally I can't eat first thing. So being able to build up an appetite and then eat right there in the park was great for me. :) Was a bit more of a scrum than in the hotel. But we got food and a table fine.

It's a shame we can't do it this trip (staying at HNY) as I'd like it in Plaza Gardens.

the benefit for me is exactly the same as torsie - I don't bother going for breakfast at all at the hotel if I want to do EMH because I just can't face eating at 7.30am (which is really 6.30am Uk time ;)).

So its great to have the first and quietest hour of EMH from 8am to 9am to do all the rides which are open, then go for breakfast within 5 minutes walk of the ride you were on :). Then you're ready to head for the Studios/ropedrop of your choice for official opening time.

Think I'm going to put on my saddest puppy face at check in in august and then go all "I've heard about this good morning fantasyland breakfast... But in 3 trips we've NEVER had it offered to us and it's said to be such a lovely experience..." Think they'd fall for that? :rotfl:
No seriously, I would LOVE to have this on one of our mornings, we've never done it nor requested for it but they've never offered it neither. Do they normally offer or should you just ask for it yourself?

I've never had it offered to us. I asked on both trips in 2010, first trip I was told there were no slots available (although I only asked on check in and didn't check again later) but in the October I managed to get it for 1 of the mornings we were there.

you should always ask your receptionist if you want to use breakfast in the park. Its not on every day though, so pleading if there aren't actually any park breakfast dates included in your stay isn't going to help :rotfl:.

Oh and its not called good morning fantasyland breakfast anymore, its just called breakfast in the park.

We were offered it on our last trip, but our friends who we travelled with weren't. They asked and the CMs were happy to oblige.

I am going to ask for this when I go, I've never yet been lucky enough to get a slot but patience is a virtue and all that.... !

I have also never ever had it offered to me, so I think you'll have to ask if you want it.
