Good Morning Character Breakfast

Our family trip just turned into a Grand Gathering and it's only 4 months away!!

So, if there's any availability, I'd like to good the Good Morning Character Breakfast at Tony's in the Magic Kingdom. I've read some information online and it says that "Tony will esort us from the gates of the Magic Kingdom to the restaurant" but also that it starts at 9am.

When we're going in September, MK will likely open at 9am. So will we get into the MK early to be escorted by Tony, or will he lead us through the mob of people, or what??

You'll enter via the character breakfast entrance (turnstiles on far right) like anyone with an early ressie at Crystal Palace or other. We got in about 8:30am (park opened at 9) and had a lot of fun strolling around main street taking pictures! So no special escort, you won't see Tony until you're in the restaurant.
We had a good time at it!

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, they're sold out for the whole week we're there for ALL Grand Gathering experiences.

What characters did you see at this breakfast and how did it compare to a "typical" character meal?

Ok someone slap me as I've never heard of this. Is this a new dining experience? Is it for all of us or just certain groups? Can someone explain it to me? Thanks!

This is a Grand Gathering breakfast. You have to have at least 8 in your party above the age of 3.

We had Chip, Dale, Pluto, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Mickey Mouse.
